We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Alair Springfield on our detached three-car garage project. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and far exceeded our expectations.Our site required quite a bit of prep work, including clearing a heavily wooded area and coordinating the relocation of a 500-gallon propane tank. Alair handled every bit of it seamlessly, working directly with our propane supplier and managing the land work without a hitch.One of our biggest priorities was that the new garage perfectly match our home so it looked like it had always been there rather than an addition. They nailed it. The finished product blends so beautifully with our house that visitors assume it was part of the original build.Midway through the project, we threw them a curveball, requesting an expanded concrete pour for a circle drive just a few days before it was scheduled. They didn’t blink. They quickly adjusted plans, accommodated the change, and did it all with a smile and zero disruption to the schedule.Their online project portal was another huge plus. It kept every detail, timeline, and cost completely transparent from start to finish. The project came in quickly and under budget, which is almost unheard of in construction!Special thanks to Travis Miller, our project lead, who was exceptional throughout. Travis was professional, friendly, and always accessible. He took the time to understand our vision, offered thoughtful input when we needed it, and made sure every detail met Alair’s high standards.We couldn’t be happier with the finished product or the experience. Built my original house and a subsequent addition. Travis, Todd and Luke do a great job of managing timelines, budgets and keeping information flowing and they stay in touch after the project to reasonably address any issues, etc. high quality / high service!
I contracted to upgrade my 1990’s home to my own aesthetic and I must give my highest recommendation to Aaron Wyssmann, Jason Massengale and their team at Alair. The carpenters, Jeff and Kyle were so talented and their attention to detail was so acute that Habitat for Humanity will benefit from unused materials. I do not remember the name of the drywall guy but he was amazing! He patched and textured to exactly match finishes, and there was a lot of patching to be done. Johnny and his crack crew of painters amazed me with their perfection. I told Johnny about some unfinished cabinets in my kitchen and he said to just tag them and he would take care of them because they were spraying clear coat…no idea if he charged extra for that but to even think to just add them that told me a lot about him and his crew. I had wallpaper hung and the woman who did the job was also fantastic in her attention to detail….right down to the light switch.In closing, Alair had a wonderful cleaner come after and she cleaned a ceiling fan which just stopped working after she had cleaned it….rather than saying….too bad so sad for you….they said they would replace that fan. I don’t know if I can express in words what that commitment did for my soul and my hope that there are honest, not take advantage, rip you off people out there.. after a nightmare of a kitchen renovation my experience with Aaron and Alair has restored my belief in the goodness and honesty of contractors. Outstanding Service from Alair!! We had a full master bath remodel done and it turned out absolutely beautiful and above what we ever expected!! My wife is thrilled!! Its always stressful thinking about doing a project this size that takes over a major space of your home... BUT Alair took all that stress away! From our initial consultation to finished project was flawless! The communication from Alair is top notch! VERY quick responses plus top management reached out to us to make sure everything was going well. We also received email updates of the workflow progress and schedule. Our designer from Alair, Kara, was a HUGE help in bringing our vision to life. Wonderful person! She helped pick out the flooring, all fixtures, counters, shower details and design. Great experience!!!! The carpenter in charge was Luke. He was AWESOME, Very knowledgable man who completely respects you home and he Always made sure the work area needed was clean, locked, secure, Plus he kept all other needed contractors on task like drywall, electricians and such. Luke really respected our home and space. You will have no worries having the LOCAL reputable professionals and owners of Alair, Aaron Wyssmann, and Travis Miller that have been in Springfield for years tackle any remodel or build you need. We had kitchen backsplash replaced done to perfection. Jeff did the work on that, outstanding job. Then we had Damon paint living room kitchen and 3 hallways on time, professional hard worker absolutely perfect. So pleased with this company and staff. Great job
