We moved to Washington because of the beauty of this area. We intended to buy but after talking to Melina we found the perfect home to build. The great thing is we worked with their designers to make a unique home with just the right mix of modern and classic. The build process has been made much easier with both Melina and Melissa working with us. They have met every deadline and expectation so far. We are just weeks from moving in now and can’t wait.

This was our first home-building experience and it was very disappointing to say the least. The construction and project team were terrible, if they were around long enough to see updates through. There were lots of turnover with the folks we worked with, which is very telling about the lack of management support. Buyers in our property were promised the surrounding fence would be fixed by the site manager but when he left the company, Garrett said they wouldn’t fix it. They also installed the wrong cabinet in my laundry room (doesn’t line up with the wall) and they refuse to fix it. This was escalated to the manager supporting our property, Brian, but he clearly had no intention on trying to address our concerns and brushed us off. He says the cabinet was installed correctly, but clearly it isn’t leaving a 12” gap between the cabinet and the wall and none of my neighbors have this issue. Garrett leadership just doesn’t want to accountable for their install error. Because we had such a terrible experience, I will NOT be recommending the services of Garrett or Pacific Lifestyle homes to family or friends. I suggest you take your business to other, more reputable home building companies.

I love everyone at Garrette. Our new custom home is beautiful and absolutely perfect! This was by far the easiest, most enjoyable home building and buying experience. We found Garrette by doing a simple Google search. We loved how easy the website was to navigate and how clearly it outlined options and homes available. Our Realtor reached out and that same day we were looking at homes they had available in our area. We fell in love with a project they already started in Lakewood, WA but wouldn't be finished for several months.

Rick sent us the most wonderful, detailed updates on our home every week - including pictures of our home throughout the process which we will look back on and treasure. They did everything they could to avoid delays, and when there was one outside of their control, they communicated every step of the way so we knew what to expect.

The Superintendent for our project, Melissa is super knowledgeable and friendly. The quality and design of the home is exceptional, they think of everything and take pride in their work. At closing, Melissa genuinely seemed just as excited as we were to give us the keys. Garrette even gave us the most unique, thoughtful gift specific to the Puget Sound area. After our first 20 days in the home, there isn't anything we don't love about it.

Without hesitation, I absolutely recommend Garrette not only for the beautiful design of their homes, but also the customer service and experience they provide to the buyer.

From the time we signed the purchase agreement until we received the keys to the house, the construction process went very well. We received regular updates on the schedule as well as photos of the progress. The design selection process was outstanding, although we would have liked to have seen more upgrade options available. The coordination between our sales representative and the construction superintendent was excellent.
Any of the minor issues that we found during the walkthrough after completion were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. Throughout the entire process everyone at Garrette Custom Homes was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We are very pleased with our new home.
