The team removed and replaced two old units with new ones, including condensers, air handlers, and smart thermostats, in just one day. They were prompt, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. The owner, David, and lead technician, Caleb, provided excellent communication throughout the process. The quote included multiple options with links to facilitate research. We remodeled our home and had several companies come out and quote us on a new system. It was going to require new duct work and moving the location of the system to a new spot. After talking to several companies, a friend recommended I call Spartan. They came out and LISTENED to what I wanted and made recommendations to save us money and improvements that would enhance the comfort of the home. They were not pushy and very polite. The Heat Pump system we purchased has a dual fuel emergency heat and a variable speed SEER 18. The system and duct work has made our home very pleasant both in the winter and summer, and my energy bill has gone down substantially. All our guests have noticed the comfort and have commented on how quiet the system is. From the front office, sales rep, installers and techs, they all ensured we had a very pleasant and professional experience! We highly recommend Spartan.
Technician did not come off as very experienced and was on the phone half the time (2 hour visit) dealing with his employer or asking questions. Was quoted $800 for a repair job that another company came out a few days later and fixed in 30 minutes during a normal tune up. Seems like a trustworthy and honest company but I definitely recommend getting a second opinion from a larger company before agreeing to any work.
For several years my wife and I have had Spartan Mechanical service for our home heating and air units. We’ve paid for yearly contracts but I’ve wondered about the wisdom of that. After this past July, I no longer wonder! When our main air conditioner went out, Brian was quick to come and assess the situation. I trusted his opinion and decided to replace the entire heating and air conditioning units. Because we’d been good customers, they gave us fast service. They came on a sweltering Saturday morning to replace our attic unit. Their work was neat and we were with a brand new Carrier heating and AC unit before that afternoon.I called some other companies about our situation and was told it would be at least a week before they could even look at it. I was really appreciative of our contract and of being a faithful customer! I highly recommend Spartan Heating and Air and can vouch for their thorough, quick and neat work. Their office staff and technicians are great to work with, they represent quality companies and do thorough work.
