Acey was the tech on my job. He handled a warranty item very quickly and was very responsive. Even though this was just an equipment issue, Kaminer completed the repair within 2 days and never tried to force a payment out me. Acey was very friendly and responsive throughout the process. Good folks.

Bought a house with a unit that was replaced by this company about eight months ago. The unit wasn’t cooling so I called. The company was able to get a technician out that same day for the $70 service fee and stated on the phone that if the issue was with the system they replaced it would be warranted.The technician came out and identified a refrigerant leak near the outside unit. He said that the leak need to be repaired and the unit recharged. He then stated it wouldn’t be “to expensive, but not cheap either” he guessed around $2500-3500. I asked about the warranty and he told me since I didn’t buy the unit that doesn’t apply to me. He also stated something about how I should have gotten money in closing for repairs. (Repairs on a brand new av unit installed by the company he works for?)He then stated that at minimum I was gonna have to pay for the refrigerant recharge but he would have to talk to Mike about it before he could give a true quote.Next day I was called by Cody who apologized for the estimate given and stated the technician was new and that wasn’t how they did things and that they stand by there work.He was able to get a technician out and get everything fixed that same day. it was warrantied by the company so I was only out the $70 service fee from the first visit.Other than the initial back and forth I am overall pleased with the service provided and would use the company again. Glad that they were able to do the right thing.
Billy seemed to be very knowledgeable on the issues we were experiencing. Straightforward and to the point on what needs to be addressed. First and only quote for work, so don’t know if overpriced or not. But I wasn’t shocked at quote. Seemed reasonable.
Michael arrived on time. He was very polite and courteous and he listened to all of our concerns. He inspected our air ducts under the house and told us what was needing to be done. He also pointed out a problem that we had with our air handler that needed to be corrected by the company that originally put it in two years ago. He was very knowledgeable and he explained everything thoroughly to us. If you're looking for a company to do your complete air conditioning needs I would highly recommend Kaminer. I wish I had known about them 2 years ago. They give free estimates.
