I selected Summit Services based on their strong local reputation, consistently high Google reviews, and a referral from a neighbor.

During a heating service visit, the technician damaged my attic access area and did not mention the damage to me at the time.

When I reported the issue, the operations manager initially focused on defending the technician’s character rather than inspecting the damage. He then questioned whether anyone else had accessed the attic prior to the service. After other explanations were exhausted and responsibility remained unresolved, the damage was attributed to pre-existing water or moisture issues without an on-site inspection.

The owner later offered to come inspect the damage personally. After missing the initially agreed-upon appointment, I texted my availability to reschedule and did not receive a response for the remainder of the day or the following morning. I only heard back after informing him that, due to the lack of follow-through, I would proceed with repairs on my own.

Due to repeated delays, missed commitments, and lack of clear communication, I ultimately decided to move forward independently. I have since canceled my maintenance plan and will no longer be using this company.

While the damage itself was minor, the response exposed larger issues with accountability and ownership when problems arise. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how a company responds. In my case, damage was not acknowledged, responsibility was denied without inspection, and follow-through did not occur. Communication delays and lack of follow-through ultimately left me responsible for resolving the issue on my own. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Summit Services.

Crew installed a mini split in my lanai. Did a great job. Clean, neat install. Although I had to fabricate a panel/brace hanging off my header. Different vendor modified one window panel in lanai and believed unit could be hung on foam filled, aluminum skinned panel. Neither I nor Summit’s installers were comfortable. Turned out great.

I needed some basic work done quickly to get ahead of some other workers. Called up a few different companies but Summit Services was the only one that would squeeze me in. They came out and did the job to perfection, gave me some other advice. From the front office to the technician, they were professional and friendly. Oh, and the price was great too!! Will call them in the future on any other needs I have.
