Old folks who lived rural without air conditioning for over 36 years in this home, finally decided to try to find comfort after the hot, humid, wet Michigan summer of 2024. Two generations of our family have always relied on Bartholomew for heat/water issues. By summer of 2025, we went ahead and finalized the estimates/product/cost and schedule of a large split unit installation (1,500 Sq Ft house).
This company and product (Bryant split unit) made a hot, humid miserable summer 2025 100% bearable AND enjoyable. The surprise was that our electric bill only rose about $12 a month for the electric air conditioner system that stayed at 74 degrees and 50% humidity for over 7 weeks uninterrupted. We do not have a furnace (heat with wood)- I do not have curtains to insulate even more. But this whole thing was beyond efficient. This thing even lowered the humidity and temp in the basement level!
Thanks to techs Dan and Will from Bartholomew, and Jen in the main office (she gets 7 star review). Thanks also to their partnership with Lamplighter Electric- Craig and Nathan who pulled it all together! We do not have a regret in any aspect!
