For a long time I assumed that we couldn't afford one of the "big name" HVAC companies in the area. I was wrong. Bethke was the original installer of the furnace and A/C in the house we bought, so their stickers were all over our equipment. Instead of them I chose a smaller HVAC business near us in Sun Prairie that I thought was just as upstanding. I regret not hiring Bethke sooner! On a recent furnace repair I found Bethke to be very affordable, honest, and good to do business with. And I think they'll be our "go-to" from now on. Long story short, the smaller HVAC business I had been hiring wasn't cleaning our furnace thoroughly, and the burners were dirty as heck, causing our furnace to act weird. The other guys were going to replace our control board (circuit board). Bethke, however, just by being thorough and honest, saved us from replacing expensive parts that wouldn't have made a difference. I'm sure that boondoggle would have cost *at least* several hundred dollars. This wasn't an emergency. Bethke was available to come out for a service call within a very reasonable amount of time. Once they were here, their time on-site was pretty short, too. Very pleased customer!

Our furnace failed on Christmas Eve morning. A Bethke service technician arrived within one hour of our call and we received a precise estimate by noon. After loaning us space heaters to get us through Christmas Day, the Bethke crew showed up next day to install a new furnace prior to a plunge in temperatures and expiration of applicable tax credits at the end of the year. A great job all around.

The Bethke team did a great job installing our dehumidifier, they were organized, neat and knew what they were doing. We no longer have to wipe down our windows each morning once the temperature drops outside. This was definitely a good investment in the comfort of our home. Thank you!

Bethke provided the best service at the most reasonable price of any plumbing and HVAC company I spoke with to replace my home heating boiler. Five stars (I'd go higher if I could). Our 30+ year old boiler started leaking water into our lower level. I had the three companies in the Madison area with the highest Google ratings come out to provide us estimates (I know nothing about boilers). Not only was Bethke the best price, but there was a 75% spread between their price and the other vendors (ridiculous, in my opinion). Jason, Bethke's owner who came to do my estimate, made me confident that his team would do a great job taking care of us. Again, I literally know nothing about boilers, plumbing, heating, etc., so I actually went through the equipment brochures from all three companies to make sure I wasn't missing something. Same equipment and peripherals, albeit from different manufacturers, and a 75% installed price spread between Bethke and the others. Jason did initially give me an installation date one month out from when I approved the quote, as opposed to ~2 weeks from the other companies, but because our boiler was actively leaking they prioritized the installation and got us in right away. We will use Bethke for all of our HVAC from now on. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We just had a furnace installed from Bethke Heating. Cory, Ryland & Mike were the installers and they were excellent! They took their time. Explained what they were doing and the functions of the new furnace. We really appreciated their attention to detail as they did have to make a couple adjustments to the installation along the way. We are very pleased with the results!!
