The tech(Hunter Polk) called first to say he would be arriving at around 8:50am. I appreciated the phone call and he was at our home on time. He went over everything he did (inside and outside our home). He did a great job and again I appreciated the phone call to let me know he was going to be early.
Hero is the best and most fairly priced HVAC company in the Charleston area.When our older HVAC system began to fail in the summer of 2024, Hero was the only company that offered up a solution to fix the unit. This was in contrast to EVERY other company that immediately wanted to replace the system at significant cost. Hero fixed our system successfully at a fair price, and enabled us to wait until we were ready to purchase a new system.Fast forward to now.... We contacted five of the most reviewed companies on Google and were shocked to see how high some of the company's estimates were (Especially Preferred Air and Blanton & Sons....). Ultimately Hero provided the lowest cost on the higher SEER/tonnage unit that we were looking for, while also providing us confidence that the job would be completed to a high standard.Customer service throughout was top notch, and I wish more companies maintained a staff of their caliber (Nothing but great things to say about Keirstin, Gavin, and Matthew). The servicing technician providing our estimate was always available for a phone call and clearly described how the new system would be installed and what we could expect from it. The installation team was timely, very polite and very professional. I always sensed that they were taking their time to do the job correctly.In the end, the only HVAC company that I would recommend to friends and family is Hero.
I've worked with Hero since they took over from Custom Climate. We have had nothing but positive experiences. The techs are in a class unto themselves.During seasonal maintenance Scott, an amazing technician, discovered a few issues; one of immediate concern and a second of possible future concern. He knows we are very proactive in maintaining our systems. He resolved the immediate problem during the visit and we have a plan for the secondary problem.I can't express how professional, well trained and competent every one we've dealt with has been. This company is fantastic.
Great Service from Hero Heating and Air. We originally used them to redo our ductwork in our HVAC closet since it was done improperly by another company use actually placed the new unit. We joined the service club at that point because we’d be silly not to AND it comes with the maintenance calls (I suggest you get that program)Today was our first service appointment and Dalton was fantastic - on time, super thorough and seemed like an overall, really good dude.Appreciate the wonderful service we have received from Hero, this far.Quick update. Just got an email with pics tied to my completion invoice. Amazing addition to actually see how the system looks and have it documented.
