Claude and his son were wonderful to work with. What an exceptional team.Easy to reach, responded quickly, professional , quick and accurate diagnosis. They resolved issue within a couple of hours. Additionally, they took the time to explain, situation and make recommendations.Highly recommend.
Southern Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning has been my go-to for HVAC servic. This is the second time I’ve had Claud work on my system in my 3,600 sq. ft. home in Mount Pleasant, which has two zones. Each time, he’s been extremely responsive, answering my call quickly and showing up on time.Claud is professional in every sense of the word. He takes care to remove his shoes before entering the house, keeps his workspace clean and organized, and approaches the issue with thorough troubleshooting. His pricing is very fair, and he even shares practical tips to help me maintain the system and lower costs in the long run. What’s especially great is that Claud’s son has been joining him to help out with the business. It’s wonderful to see a family-oriented company that takes pride in both their work and their customer service. It’s rare to find this level of quality and reliability these days. I highly recommend Claud and Southern Seasons for any HVAC needs!
Can not express enough gratitude for Claude and Cruze. Our AC went out with Hurricane Debby, and they came out day of to diagnose and try to fix, and came back next day (store for parts was closed due to storm) and fixed. Incredibly genuine and kind. Highly recommend. I called a dozen companies, he was the only to answer and help!
Great costumer service! Claude and his son Cruze did a great job at explaining the problems we were having and helped get it resolved quickly while saving us time and money. Turns out the bigger (private equity owned) companies were trying to scam us into subscription revenue and charge us for work we did not need. Claude should be running the HVAC market in Charleston.
Claude came to our house on a Saturday to try to fix our air conditioner, which we very much appreciated. He added 9 pounds of Freon to a unit that holds 6.4 pounds and charged us over $1000. I understand that the tubing requires some Freon as well, but as we found out 3 days later (using a different company)that the reason our A/C still wasn’t working is that it was overcharged. The pressure was much higher than it should have been and the unit repeatedly shut off for this reason, and may have been further damaged. My husband tried to get in touch with Claude on Sunday but never heard back. Claude later said that he was ill, so that is understandable. However, when we told him that the unit was overcharged and another company had to come out and remove some of the Freon, he said he would refund us, but he hasn’t, yet, and it has been 3 days. I have made a payment request for $250 on Venmo to cover the cost of the other company coming out to fix our A/C.Claude never went into our crawlspace. If he had, he would have seen that our the condensate pump was sitting in water and not working properly because our dehumidifier was leaking into our crawlspace. My husband, fortunately, did go into the crawlspace after Claude left and had replace the pump and clean out the tubing.Claude also recommended a Nest thermostat to replace our malfunctioning thermostat. We later found out that this is not recommended for our variable speed Bryant unit.We still aren’t really sure what the original problem was. Claude said that the cap for the Freon was off, but the other A/C company said this would not cause the Freon to leak. We know that the condensate pump was not working and our thermostat was not working, and possibly that our unit was low on Freon. But, what I do know is that our unit was overcharged with Freon and possibly damaged because of this, we were overcharged for Freon, and we should receive a refund for at least $250 if not more.
