We had an issue with our heat pump that was tricky and required in-depth review and expertise. HI was responsive withinitial call and stuck with it to resolve in a timely manner. Techs Derek, Kevin and Aaron(sp) were friendly, knowledgeable and took time to help us understand our system. HI's service responsiveness and level of care are top-notch.
We needed a shower plumbed and installed at our manufacturing plant so we reached out to H.I. Mechanical. Not only was the quote provided quickly but the price was more than reasonable. The service manager was personable and professional and booked our appointment for within a week. They showed up on time the day of with everything in hand and completed the project the same day. Reasonable prices, site was left clean and organized, they were polite, personable, professional and did a great job. Highly recommended!
Do not recommend. Come and tighten a loose screw on my dishwasher that they originally missed was loose in the first place when they installed it themselves. Job takes them 20 minutes and they are charging $130 for an hour of labour tightening a screw. They don't give me an idea of their pricing and then just charge whatever they feel like. I am floored by this.UPDATE. Open and honest would be disclosing pricing and 1 hour policy in advance.
200% recommend these people. It's been a year since HI installed our heat pump, and I'm sitting here in my comfortably warmed home, looking at my heating bills that are a fraction of what they were. But beyond that, from Sean walking us through what we needed on our end, providing three quotes, to the installers going the extra mile to make it fit perfectly above a door. And they had some time to kill while the system pressurized so they put my shed roof back together, even though it was on me to do it. That level of service and courtesy isn't common these days.
We just had a heat pump and new gas furnace installed by HI Mechanical. We are thrilled with this company's efforts, from original meeting with Sean, their outstanding sales guy, to the final installation crew Ben and his team and of course Kelsey's awesome office support. Tristan and Sean even called and spent 30 minutes walking us through the quote directly and honestly answering our questions before we signed the contract. The customer service is outstanding with timely responsive answers. And yes I asked a lot of questions. We consulted other companies. The quotes were pretty similar but the quality of the service, installation and supportive is beyond compare. Call this team. You won't be disappointed!
