I had a terrible experience with Minute Key's customer service. My key was supposed to be delivered last Friday, but I haven't received anything - not even an update. I called and was told that the order hadn't even been shipped yet, and I didn't get any further information. When I contacted customer service again, the representative barely understood what I was saying, and I couldn't understand them either. Now I was told that the delivery time is 5 to 10 business days, which is completely unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.
Impressed, and happy. Went to the hardware store to get a key duped, realized I didn't have the key with me, physically. I remembered that I did have a 'digital' key made somewhere... so I looked in my emails and yes, a year ago I made a 'digital' key.Wasn't sure how to get a real key made form a digital key, but followed instructions in my email. Downloaded app, easy install. Clicked on my 'digital key' in my email, and then saw my key saved in the app.Followed instructions and boom, I made a few keys, without have the physical one with me, so stoked. One problem, it took me awhile to identify which Minute Key I was physically at. I was instructed to find it on the side of the Minute Key machine, but it was actually within the screen interface itself. The only hiccup.
Lots of different choices of key graphics. A bit pricey at $4 per key, but you get 1 free with 2. Quality was surprisingly very good. All fit locks perfectly.
I wanted a copy of one key and ended up at the machine that not only charged more, but offered a free key if you ordered one more. While I appreciate the offer of a free key, $16 for three keys is more that I wanted to pay.
no detail to share, had key made and it was not cut correctly and did not work. key copied was a new key no wear to it. Had to give a star to be able to post.
