I reached out to GetMovers about 48–72 hours before I needed to move, and they came through in a big way. I received an affordable quote and a clear arrival window, even though the move was scheduled on a Saturday. The night before, I emailed a detailed list of items, including a photo of a very heavy cabinet weighing around 250–300 pounds. The next morning around 11am, Michelle from the office called to let me know she had coordinated a team to arrive earlier to make sure everything could be handled properly, including moving part of the load into storage. I wasn’t checking my phone constantly, so the early arrival was a surprise, but it ended up being a huge help given our tight timeline. The movers were excellent. They carefully prepped and packed each item and completed the job efficiently. I was especially impressed with how well they packed the storage unit they managed to fit far more furniture than I thought possible, which clearly comes from experience. Everything was handled thoughtfully and professionally, and the planning on short notice made all the difference. I’m very grateful for the support and would absolutely use GetMovers again.

Really happy with how the move went. They’re not the cheapest option out there but compare to otheres they are the cheapest and the reliability made it worth it. Communication was solid the whole time, and the way the movers wrapped and protected the furniture was very thorough, nothing felt rushed or half done. It was supposed to rain on moving day, so they suggested adding a fourth mover at half price to help get everything done before the weather turned. That suggestion honestly saved us a lot of stress. The move around the Uptown Waterloo area finished just in time, and everything stayed dry. I’d recomend Getmovers without thinking twice.

Everything was handled carefully, including a 6+ foot grandfather clock, which really impressed us. From setting up my move to the unboxing of my items, everything went incredibily smoothly. The team was very easy to work with and a great value for my money.
