Movers were mostly friendly, but due to negligence in the packing of the truck, our headboard was broken.After going back and forth with claims, I’ve yet to receive a resolution and have found no way to contact someone within the local office for assistance. Good luck speaking with someone that isn’t very obviously in a call center.Hoping someone in the local office will see this review to help make this issue right.
If I could give this company no stars, I would. My recent move with Bellhop was a nightmare from start to finish. I now understand why this company has no reviews – they simply do not resolve issues.The movers arrived on time, but the driver was a no-show until 2:13 p.m., hours after the scheduled start time. The movers used all of my packing tape and asked me for a screwdriver, which is unacceptable as they should come equipped with their own supplies.When my items were finally delivered, screws for my dining room set were missing, my shoe box set was damaged, and my bookshelf was broken. One of the movers even admitted to losing the screws. To top it off, the driver texted me for gas money and wanted to connect on Instagram, which was highly unprofessional and inappropriate.When I reached out to the company by calling over 30 times, I have yet to get to a resolution. I even have confirmation emails that someone would reach out including the manager and still NOTHING!!!This experience caused me extreme anxiety and distress, especially after being threatened with a cancellation unless Bellhop pre-authorized $3700. I am requesting a refund due to the unprepared, careless movers and significant delays caused by the company. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Bellhop at all costs.
