David was so helpful in relieving my fear over a snake skin shed that we found in our backyard. After a close call with one of our dogs and a baby rattlesnake last year, I was very concerned when we found the snake shed. David quickly identified the snake shed as a non-venomous snake. Thanks again David!!

My daughter was having some work done to her car while the mechanic had the hood up, I noticed something wedged on the side of her battery that was the skin of a snake. I was very concerned and started GOOGLING, I’m so thankful I came across this website.
David was very professional and prompt with his response and provided me with the information I needed. Will definitely refer him as well as reach back out if I stumble across anymore snake skin I need help identifying!

My friend found a snake skin in a brick wall in her back yard and since she had seen a rattlesnake there a few years ago she was afraid it might be another rattlesnake. I submitted photos to David and in less than 24 hrs he identified it as a harmless rat snake. Extremely helpful since she has 4 small dogs. Thank you David for being so quick to respond, for giving us peace of mind and solving the mystery!

David identified the species of snake from the skin I found and was lightening fast in responding! He put my mind at ease when he ID’d my visitor as a non-venomous rat snake and he is an excellent resource for anyone interested in discovering a type of snake from a shed skin. Thanks!
