Came home from work one day and my boiler quit working due to the fuel pump going out. I called Altrol hoping they can help fix my issue or guide me in the right direction, they sent a guy named Frank out he showed up looked at the boiler for five minutes didn’t even touch it and said he’d be back with the fuel pump. About 20 minutes later after patiently waiting I get a text from Altrol saying “thank you for your business, your cost is 350.” I then spent the rest of the night taking my entire boiler apart at -40 trying to save my house from freezing up. Bottom of the line is your company is a joke and your “emergency technician” is as well. Waste of my time and money dealing with you people. ??
Good day Fairbanks. Today was awesome.Jeff, and Andrew came and installed a new furnace in my apartment. They are so professional so courteous so respectful they got their job job done before the end of the day. They started at 9:30. We’re done at 2 o’clock this afternoon. It was incredible. Thank you so much for all the service you provide for our community.
I had an issue with a clogged fuel line for my hydronic heater system. When they arrive, the technicians did attempt to fix the issue, but ultimately the damage was too severe for a simple repair and the whole fuel tank would need to be replaced. One of the technicians suggested that they could install a temporary system until spring, when I could actually install a permanent tank outside. In fact, they suggested it was possible it could be done that day! Credit where credit is due, the technicians were polite and professional. I have no complaints with their work.However, I did feel that the price I paid for ultimately no resolution was rather steep. Ultimately, this is secondary to Altrol's main issue, extremely poor customer service. I tried calling Altrol several times to schedule a follow-up to get this temporary system installed and I was simply ignored. I left a message with all of my relevant contact info and what I wanted to schedule with them, and even now I still haven't received a response. If they are so desperate to not have my business, then so be it. I will never spend another red cent here for leaving me with a freezing house without any plan to address the issue or any follow-up of any kind.If you value your money and sanity, these guys are not worth dealing with.
Nobody ever wants to have to call someone for in home repairs but if you do I recommend Altrol they have been exceptional in fitting me into the schedule. The tech i have worked with have all been professional and very knowledgeable. Cleaning up after themselves and getting the issues resolved fast!
I’ve always loved working with Altrol as a vendor for my clients, and this week they came through for me at my own home as well. I had a deep clog in my main drain line that caused a backup, and Dan was dispatched promptly, even late in the evening. He worked diligently to locate and clear the issue, despite clearly having long days already behind him.Great service, excellent communication from dispatch, and friendly staff all around. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
