Gene from Artic Plumbing &Heating came out this morning and got me up an running in less than 15 mins. Showed me how my system works (just bought home and nothing in basement makes sense). Told me how to troubleshoot for future. Then he said call him back to make sure horses have water. This is the second time I have used this company. LOVE THEM!
People hate to pay $300 for a simple fix but to me it's the best possible outcome. Gene was really friendly and got our water back on. I was upstairs so my dog would shut up, but he gave my husband a lot of info and maintenance tips.I really appreciated the quick service.
I had the most amazing service experience. The young lady who answered the phone was so helpful and caring. She made sure my problem was handled from start to finish, right through to the service technician coming to my home and fixing it. I am very grateful for her excellent customer service.
Arctic Plumbing came out and thawed a couple pipes during the deep freeze in December. They sent a plumber and an apprentice/helper. They charged me double labor for the second guy to get a tool out of the truck!! They did not tell me ahead of time they were sending two guys or that it would cost me over $700 (double labor) for just over an hour of work. This was easily a one person job and $350 would’ve been a fair price. So while others pay half for the same job, I was the lucky one who paid double. They thawed the pipes, but what I initially thought of as them leaving my tub dripping to prevent future freezes, turned out that whatever they did to thaw the pipes, has left a permanent dripping tub that I will now have to call another plumber to fix. I initially left a good review because I was happy my pipes were thawed, but after dealing with the leaking tub and hindsight on the price, I will never call them again, nor would I recommend them. If they want to charge double, they should tell the customer on the phone and let me decide if I’m willing to or not.
Called them out to repair damage from frozen pipes, they were able to get someone out to us quickly, their pricing was very reasonable, and they offered a military discount. Our technician Gene was friendly and very knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be using this company again and recommending them to friends.
