Friendly and fairly knowledgeable staff. If the counter doesn't know the answer to your question someone in the back probably does. They are open more often and reliably than their competition. The only locally owned plumbing/heating supply house in the state.
They didn't have what I needed but he pointed me in another direction that worked out.
Been going here for years. The help is always new and they really dont seem to know much. The prices are insanely high!Much of the items seem to have a 100% mark up... compared to others in the area.Lately its been a waste of time going here. Better.\nTo do somewhere else. Just saying. Place has become a joke.
Called to inquire about stock level for a combo BFP/Autofill. Took a few seconds and they were able to apprise me of stock levels.Went in to actually put hands on the part and they were kind enough to show me several different options.Had to go back to the house to verify exact needs. Returned the next day and they remembered me and set me up with what I needed.Price was also better than online offerings! Not too much they could do better, in my opinion.
Great service cannot overcome horrible exchange policy. The service at frontier heating has always been fantastic, they have great employees, but I will not be a customer there any longer. Their recent change in their exchange policy has left me baffled. I recently purchased a fuel pump for my oil burner, the pump was defective out of the box. I was told I has to buy another pump out of pocket and would not be refunded for the faulty pump until beckett cleared it. I was also told I may not even get my full amount returned to me. All I wanted was to exchange the faulty pump for another unit. Instead I'm out of pocket for two pumps. I prefer to keep my business local if possible and am willing to pay extra for that and for local service. With this new policy in place at frontier I will have to become an online buyer for my heating supplies and equipment.
