Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication, Damage, and DishonestyI hired Grizzly Plumbing to move a sewer vent and install a shower valve. All plumbing was exposed, and there was a stud in the way. I told them they could remove the stud if necessary, but specifically warned them there was a finished room on the other side of the wall and not to damage the drywall. I do remodels for a living and even offered them multiple appropriate tools and alternative methods to avoid damaging the drywall. Despite this, they immediately grabbed a Sawzall and busted straight through the drywall on the opposite side. When installing the shower valve, I clearly told them not to install their fitting on top because I needed to move items inside the wall. They ignored this instruction and did it anyway. I removed their fitting and installed mine correctly. Later, the invoice stated “customer touched job – no warranty,” which is unfair considering the issue was caused by their failure to follow directions. to begin with — how can they even claim to warranty anything when they never checked whether the work was leaking or functioning properly? I specifically asked if they had plugs to test the system, and they did not. There was still work left to be done, but at that point I no longer trusted their workmanship, so I finished the job myself. They also arrived without necessary supplies and had to run to the store twice. They left without acknowledging the drywall damage. After calling the office, the front desk employee was apologetic and said the owner would contact me — which never happened, despite multiple follow-ups over 4 weeks. Instead, I received a bill for over $700.On the bill, they claimed the drywall damage “could not be avoided” because the sheetrock was nailed instead of screwed. This was false — the drywall was screwed in, making this explanation just another excuse rather than accountability. They sent a contractor who only partially patched the wall. After waiting four weeks for resolution, I ultimately fixed the drywall myself.Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. The lack of professionalism, refusal to follow clear instructions, unnecessary property damage, and dishonest explanations on the invoice show a complete lack of accountability. I strongly recommend that nobody use Grizzly Plumbing. If you value your home, your time, your money or being treated honestly, look elsewhere. You’d be better off doing it yourself. Wast of money
My husband contacted Grizzly Plumbing in early October to come out to our home in Great Falls and repair a couple of small plumbing issues. The work took less than 45 minutes and consisted of reconnecting a toilet supply line and fixing a P-trap, yet we were charged over $260.The technician was very quiet and provided little explanation of the work being performed. The helper mostly stood by and observed. At the conclusion of the visit, the only communication was that the work was completed, followed by “thanks” and “have a nice day.” The lack of communication and professionalism during the service visit was disappointing.I later contacted the office to discuss the bill and was informed that the work order indicated the technicians were on site for nearly two hours. I explained that this timeframe was not accurate. She was friendly and understanding, and advised that the business owner would contact me to discuss the time discrepancy. That call was made near the end of October. I called again a week later and again was advised she provided the information to the owner and she apologized for him not following through. It is now December, and I have still not received a call from the owner.Grizzly Plumbing’s website states that the company was founded to provide honest, transparent service with exceptional workmanship and to be an alternative to profit-driven plumbing companies. Unfortunately, based on our experience, those values were not reflected in the service we received. Due to the lack of follow-through and the unprofessional conduct during the service visit, we will not be using this company again.
Skylar replaced a 4" copper upstairs toilet waste which had developed a pinhole leak in the 4" elbow. Came out to look at the problem, gave me an estimate, and did the work right away. Took about 3 hours to replace the copper waste with pvc. Am very pleased with the work.
Both Dakota and Garrett came to my home to install a new kitchen faucet. Dakota did a great job getting the faucet installed. He was also mentoring Garrett. Our only problem was the old faucet was difficult to get out. Dakota had all the tools he needed to cut the old faucet fitting and take it out.I highly recommend Dakota and will definitely call Grizzly again. I might add that the job was done in very good time!
Grizzly Plumbing’s owner/operator, Jason, sets the standard, by operating an outstanding business. His professionalism and hard work was not only demonstrated by him, but demonstrated by all of his employees. We had a major renovation on our home that included completely changing the plumbing in our home. Over the course of the job we had the pleasure of dealing with a number of Jason’s staff. All of them were respectful and willing to answer our questions and address changes as they arose. I seldom right reviews; but I’m happy to give Grizzly Plumbing the highest marks and a great review. I would not hesitate to contact Jason for all our plumbing needs.
