I called early this morning to get an appointment. I was put on the schedule and notified when the technician would arrive. They even worked around my Dr’s appointment. Earl arrived on time. He kept me informed as to what he was checking on and answered my questions. He identified the problem, located the part and replaced it . He was done in less than an hour. I was pleased with his service. I have been doing business with Chaffee for over 25 years and would recommend them to anyone.

I am late to write this but that is no reflection of the wonderful experience having Chris Manning service our heat and air unit on May 12th. This appt was for scheduled maintenance that is done twice per year under the maintenance contract we have with Chaffee.
Chris arrived at the top of the scheduled window of time for the appt. The Chaffee staff made contact to inform me that the technician was on his way within 30-45 min. I love the reminder calls to schedule maintenance and the 30+ min alert for their arrival.
Chris arrived with a smile, introduced himself, and went right to work on his inspection. When Chris completed the maintenance and inspection, he informed me that the unit was working great. A heat and air unit is a big investment for your home so I try to stay attentive to any issues so they will be addressed immediately. Chris is not only polite and knowledgeable but also gifted at sharing information on my low level of understanding how a heating and cooling unit works. I did purchase a surge protector for our unit and Chris installed it that day. Our interaction was a conversation not pressure to “sell” something. It was always an informative friendly discussion with all my questions answered and my choice accepted with a smile. Chris completed all the tasks at hand and was meticulous cleaning up.

I really appreciate the honest and professional service I have always received from Chaffee. Chris Manning was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to, patient and attentive, even with my pups. He obviously has a heart for animals.

Chaffee has been great. We had our system go down on a holiday weekend in the dead of summer, and they were the only ones we could get to come out. They restored AC same day and we’ve used them ever since. Jason upgraded our system today as part of our routine maintenance plan and addressed some key prevention measures we didn’t have (surge protector, safety shut off, uv lights). I think the extras were worth it for peace of mind and the price was reasonable. It will prevent future issues from occurring.

Jason came to our house to assist us with a heating issue where we didn’t have heat in part of the house. He was prompt, courteous, and he went out of his way to check everything to make sure we didn’t have to spend additional money, when he could have charged us for something that we didn’t need. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs quick and competent service.
