Great work with this company formerly DeLuca now Wilkes. Same great service. Tankless water heater installed and running great over a year. Today was a fair priced and efficient servicing of downstairs plumbing. Very kind rep at my house.
I had a sump pump replaced by Wilkes Heating and Plumbing. Gage, the technician, was friendly, competent, and efficient - everything you'd want in a service professional.During our conversation, I asked about a backup sump pump, and Gage provided me with options and verbal quotes for parts. After doing some research, I called back to schedule the installation.That’s when things took a turn. I spoke with Jared, who tried to steer me away from my chosen option, saying he needed to check with a county plumbing inspector. Fair enough.However, when I followed up, I learned that he hadn’t actually consulted the county inspector. Instead, he sought out an inspector he knew would give him the answer he wanted. On top of that, he suddenly claimed a new policy required an additional $250 part - something never mentioned in my discussions with Gage or during my first call with Jared.This kind of manipulative and unprofessional bait-and-switch behavior is unacceptable. I will not be doing business with them again.
This review is long overdue. We have been using Wilkes Plumbing services for over 15 years, The phone call starts with incredible staff in the office. Caroline and Sara(h) are always friendly and accommodating. I love that I can trust their employees in my home even if I have an emergency and have to leave or will be late when they arrive. Robert has been our #1 service guy. He shows me pictures of issues and has explained things that have been fixed. When we remodeled our bathroom and needed new plumbing fixtures this is where I went. These people are great members of the community as well. Happy to support this long-standing, local business.
If you need your sump pump replaced before your basement floods I’m telling you stop looking and call these people. They were here so fast and the guy knew exactly what he was doing and the price is phenomenal. I just love it. I’m telling you don’t pass up this chance Called this morning. Just wanted to share a great experience I received today from Wilkes plumbing!! Their plumber Steve came out and went right to work fixing the water leak. Everyone from the office staff, the manager and the plumber are top notch. Steve was very friendly and professional. I had no idea he would fix everything the first time out. This is an older home with older plumbing that I purchased from my Dad. I have made great strides to improve the interior and exterior. I am now looking forward to updating the plumbing. I am so lucky to have found a great plumbing company to help me along the way.
