Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air

On the 13th of January I contacted the company to request a leak detection on my house, they sent an employee named Gabriel. After I showed him the area between the kitchen and the bathroom that the floor was hot- checking my water meter I knew I had an underground leak. Gabriel told me just for him to detect the leak it would be 875$ which I agreed and payed. Confirming we had a leak I asked the cost to fix, he quoted me 8-10,000$ to fix it. Shocked by the excessive amount I asked if that was the best price he could do the job for. He said he would talk to his office to see what he could do. He came back with a drastic price drop of 5300$ including the 875$ from him detecting the leak. I said I would have to get back to him. To make sure he marked the 2 areas of the broken pipe correctly I hired another team and on Friday they began digging on the first area Gabriel had marked the leak to be. They dug 12 inches down and found no leak or pipe. I called Gabriel to tell him the situation. He said to send him pictures which I did and I offered for him to come and find the right spot instead of me spending more money which he never did. The new team who fixed the leak had to break even more concrete and cement 3-4 feet away from where he originally detected the leak which cost more money to fix. If we had dug in the second area he also incorrectly marked it would have cost even more. I left a message asking if he could call me back and called headquarters requesting assistance of a supervisor, 72 hours has passed and no one has reached out or made any attempt to apologize for the mistake. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want your money taken quick and want nonexistent assistance even quicker. I paid for professionals only to be professionally let down. I booked an appointment for 3 to 5 and I get a voicemail at 3:10 (10 minutes after the appointment window) talking about “all technicians are booked”. It sounded confusing because if all technicians are “booked” then what did I “book” when scheduled the appointment the day prior? The voicemail also stated that they could “TENTATIVELY” schedule me for tomorrow. I’m sorry but when I take time off work specifically for this, I can’t “tentatively” and retroactive scrap the whole idea and not get charged vacation time by in case y’all don’t show up. I canceled this altogether and will be contacting someone less tentative and more certain about their appointments. Thanks for wasting my time

Nathaniel Romero, plumber was kind, courteous, hardworking and appeared skillful. Explained all details of outdoor shower, valves and plumbing repairs and professionally offered suggestions for potential future needs but wasn't "pushy". Did a Wonderful job in installation of shower grab applied through marble. Worked in Large Medical Center and would have benefited by More personnel like Nathaniel Romero. Give my Highest 5 Star rating. Office Staff polite and helpful. Only negative with Rescue Hero were costs, though installation of shower grab bar very reasonable. Thank You Nathaniel. Free

I can’t recommend this company enough. Every single interaction has been outstanding. The office staff is friendly and competent. The texting service for scheduling is excellent- great communication so you always know what’s going on. Literally every step of the process from beginning to end is tacky what you from any customer service oriented business. My technician, Tony Alas, is funny, friendly, and most important, professional and knowledgeable. I’m sure all the guys are great but Tony will always be my first request! He provided all the info regarding my problem, providing both short and long term solutions. He looked for ways to save me money but also told me the “right” way to do things. I really can’t recommend both Tony and Rooter Hero enough. If you need a plumber, this absolutely should be your first call.
