Thanks MIKE! Unclogged my sink and repaired my slow water flow from the kitchen sink. I’m extremely satisfied and grateful someone as reasonable and affordable as Mike was sent out to my property. Explained problems and solutions with ease, providing me with exceptional service. Thanks Mike!

Mike at Roto-Rooter did a fantastic job! Took time to explain the process, periodically informed me of his progress, resolved the issue and cleaned up after himself. Got here quickly and completed the job quickly as well. Highly Recommend!

Mike, my technician, was awesome. He was extremely courteous and kept me informed throughout the repair. Mine was a very difficult main drain to open. He put every effort into clearing it. He just wouldn’t give up. I’m sure many other companies would have thrown in the towel and recommended that I call an excavator. Not Mike; he kept at it until he was able to clear it out. There is one set fee and he gave me that upfront. And then he proceeded to spend four hours working on it. This is the second time that I’ve needed their service and was more than satisfied with their. On a scale of one to five they are a ten!

We had sewage coming up from our basement laundry drain and called Roto Rooter to help us. They did anything but. Eddie arrived on site and called in his supervisor, Max Corner. Max said that he was unable to open up the main basement clean out so they had to run equipment from the main floor bathroom. This added 8-10’ to how far they attempted to rod which apparently weakened their equipment enough that they were not able to properly determine where the actual damage was. Max drew up a proposal and told me once I signed they would be able to get a crew out the next day to begin work. I signed the contract trying to get my home back in order and Max then called to tell me they actually wouldn’t be able to start the next day because he had already left and did not map out the yard (never received an explanation as to why this was not done when he was on site). He returned the next day and due to the cold weather he could not get his equipment or spray paint to work leading him to pace my yard yelling curse words for 20+ minutes getting to the point where a neighbor had to call and ask if everything was ok at the house. Max then came back in to do the same inside because he was not able to get the toilet back on (photo attached). He left it like this and said it was fine because it wasn’t actively leaking.
The next day a crew was supposed to arrive by 10am and they showed up around 2pm. They dug a hole and cracked my line and despite this area not being the issue, put in a clean out and left. Public Works actually told them that that do not appear to be the issue spot and they told him that that was the spot they were contracted to dig. They sent in a jetter who said that the issue was actually 8-10’ farther down the line and max would have to come back. The jetter also would not hook up his equipment to the main line because it was only accessible under my porch and he would not go under there. So he cut a hole in my basement window screen and hooked up to a near 100 year old laundry tub which is now leaking.
Max came back and confirmed that the issue was actually 10’ farther down the line and immediately quoted me an additional $7000 even though I was already out $8500 FOR WORK THAT DID NOT HAVE TO BE DONE!
I told him that I was not going to use them and called a local plumber who said that the job was actually $3500.
I’m getting in touch with an attorney as I now have more damage than when I called in Roto Rooter and they did unnecessary work for which they overcharged.

Had a utility sink in basement that would not drain. House built in 1921 so pipe is very old cast iron. Your technician worked on the clog diligently for over 1.5 hours trying multiple rodding bits and sizes. He was not giving up without a fight, and fight he did. He was very proffeaional, cleaned area after he finished, and apologized for not being able to clear the drain. He is a great asset to your company, and I commend him for a heroic effort. I would give him 6 stars if I could. Since he could not clear the drain he did not charge me, which I honestly felt bad about. Bravo Roto Router! Luis, tech # 6165 is an outstanding employee for you guys!
