If you like to be jerked around this is the place to contact. Called the office around 815 on a Monday morning concerning a leaking pipe. The girl who answered took the info and said a technician will call me. Waited all day for call that never came. Called them again the next morning to inquire as to what's up as I'm still waiting on call. Same girl said "They" worked late last night and should receive a call "today". I asked if she could give me any idea as to when they may call, morning or afternoon and was told "early this afternoon". I'm writing this review Saturday, 6 days later and I still haven't received a phone call. I've used this plumber several times in the past with no problems. Seems like the issue is with the person who answers the phone.

Called out to get a bid, approved bid same day. I would have considered an emergency as the tenant could not use his toilet with concrete in the line. 11 days later still NO SERVICE nor placed on schedule for immediate repair. Rachel responds I only have 2 plumbers but need 7 plumbers. Every time the property manager would call their office, she would give the run around from stating pending the owner Ramon to add this work to their schedule. A real plumber would have considered this an emergency and completed that day. Horrible service. lady in the office refused to give her name or owners name when asked, just downright nasty attitude and service. Then she tried to turn the tables and state I had an attitude because they did not do their job 11 days prior and was simply calling back to see what the status of the emergency was as they were called out to do. Comical to me you try to blame me for not doing your job. Called out another plumber and they are in process of fixing it same day as it is considered an emergency.

I typically don’t do reviews but I had to this time. We had some major clogs in our plumbing lines. I called the on call service and left a message. The next morning, someone promptly called and scheduled me for service. The gentlemen that came was friendly and when he left, he believed that he had fixed the problem. The cost for the service was very reasonable especially with less than a 24 hour turnaround. Unfortunately, later that same evening, my drains were back to clogging. I contacted the on call number again and left a message. The next morning, they sent two gentlemen (one very knowledgeable and experienced and a younger man who had some knowledge but informed me he was still learning) to address the issue and figure out how it was not corrected the first time. Within 30 minutes, they had located the main sewer line to our house, ran 75 ft of snake, listened in several spots of my floors to hear the water flow, cleared all of the sludge and debris and had the line completely cleared out and water flowing to the main city sewage line.

I was expecting to have to pay a second fee for the service but nope, there was no charge. They stand behind their service and the gentlemen that came the second day were professional, kind, extremely knowledgeable and patient in explaining to me what they were doing, how they fixed it and how to help prevent it in the future.

I was a little disappointed that the first gentleman didn’t fix the issue and was expecting issues the second day but I received the exact opposite. I applaud Drain Surgeon for how they corrected and rectified the issue in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend them and they will be my first call anytime I need plumbing services.

On a side note, I was able to observe the experienced plumber train the younger gentlemen. This man should train all of your new plumbers!! He was patient but more importantly he didn’t boss the trainee around. He thoroughly explained the what, why, how, tricks, if something didn’t work then the next thing to do/try, etc. The trainee complimented the trainer several times. You could see the respect that they each gave the other. That’s something rare in todays world. I apologize for not remembering their names!
