Our clients just entered into escrow. We had an important pool inspection scheduled and confirmed. They were an absolute. NO SHOW, NO CALL. Three people from our team called and got no answer. We wrote an email, no answer. They never showed up and never called us back to inform us that there was an issue or have any explanation whatsoever. I will not be hiring or referring them again.
Very disappointed in our experiences with this company. We have used them over the last couple of years. We were pleased with their opening and closing services. We had a bad experience with them last summer for a leak detection. They swore they were hearing a leak under our artificial turf. Dug the entire thing up and found no leak. They did not correctly put the dirt back, compact, and replace the artificial turf. We had to pay a landscaper to do it. However, we still got charged over $1000 for the service. We kept using them though because again their opening and closing services were adequate. This year, I called about three weeks in advance to have my pool opened. They sent out a new employee who had no idea how to open a saltwater pool. He broke a couple of pieces off. One piece he said he was going to return the next day to replace and never showed up. I left a message on their answering machine since nobody seems to answer the phone over there anymore. The same technician called and said he would come by that Friday and again never showed up. My husband called again and left another message and we were ghosted. We had another Pool company come out to find that a lot of the connections hadn't been properly seated. Found a gasket on the ground and where it fell off. What a disaster!
We have used Albuquerque Pools for several years to service our pool. I would highly recommend them. They show up on time, have knowledgeable and personable service technicians, and even if something small goes wrong, they show up quickly to fix it and make things right.
I called a month ago and set up an appointment to have them drain our pool, power wash it, and fill it. They had previously given us a quote for these services. We set an appointment for today for them to drop the pumps off.No one showed up. When I called to find out why they hadn’t dropped off the pumps, they claimed never to have spoken to me and aggressively contradicted me about it. They said there is nothing they can do to honor the schedule they gave me.We had scheduled my birthday party around the dates they gave us. Invitations already went out for a pool party that now doesn’t can’t happen. I wish they had taken accountability instead of doubling down on their mistake.Edited to add photo: I called Albuquerque Pools on March 20, 2026 at 12:34 pm. to schedule services. (See photos). After they no showed, I had to cancel my birthday pool party, which really bummed me out. I called a couple of different services and scheduled with one of them. Both service providers said they had quit working at Albuquerque Pools and started their own businesses due to Albuquerque Pools’ chronic scheduling issues. Seems like their scheduling and phone systems aren’t working as they should.
Had a home inspection done by Albuquerque Pools before purchasing a home with a pool. They failed to discover that the existing heater not only didn't function but was missing critical components, and wasn't even wired in. Trusting this company cost me $5,000.Replying to your response: I have called and left messages FIVE times in the past 3 months and not a single one of my calls has been returned.
