I have recently contacted Zach to maintain my pool. He has gone the extra mile with a robot and changed my service day to accommodate me. I am lucky to have found him and am more than pleased with the service he provides.
I asked for one time cleaning. I setup an appointment and no one showed up. Never got a call, text message or follow up. I had to call and ask what happened. They rescheduled me for the next day and my pool started off with clarity and after cleaning was cloudy. I received a text message that I should just let my pump run 6 hours and it would clear - it didn’t. I called back - and I was told they would reserve the next day - never came. I don’t recommend using them for cleaning and if you do use them plan on being flexible with your schedule.
Our Pool Spa was last serviced prior to us buying our home in January. We decided that we needed to have it cleaned and serviced prior to us using it. Called Zach and he quoted us a reasonable price came out to Los Lunas and did a great job of not only providing excellent service but also gave me education on doing the necessary items to maintain the spa. Gave us a Veteran Discount which I appreciated very much and will have him come back to do the necessary maintenance next time.
?? Warning!??Seriously unprofessional. Consistently untimely, incompetent, unreliable, and negligent. Does not care about outcomes for his customers. And, to top it off, blames customers for his failure. For your own sanity, avoid this “pool professional.”I have contacted Zac on several occasions. It seems like most other pool cleaners are booked up and have a waiting list, but Zac doesn’t. There’s a reason. He has consistently failed to complete a job in a timely and professional manner.I thought the first time or even second time were just flukes. He had plenty of 5-star reviews. So, I thought I’d give him one last chance. NEVER again. ???????Here’s why:On 22 April 2024, I contacted Zac to have my pool cleaned in preparation for Airbnb guests on the 11th of May. I need the pool clean and clear before my guests arrive. My work was taking me out of town, so I needed to hire someone to clean the pool in a timely manner while I was away. I contacted Zac.He said, “That shouldn’t be a problem.” We confirmed an appointment for 1 May — giving him 10 days to get it fully sorted out. He showed up, noted the pool was about 6” low, and started filling it. Then he left. He didn’t bother doing any other cleaning at that time. I asked when he would return. He said he would return the following Wednesday — only 3 days before guests were scheduled to arrive. I expressed concern that IT wouldn’t be ready on that timeline. He said “[The pool] Should be [ready on the 11th].” “It should be fine.” “I'm pretty confident that I will have it ready for you by the 11th.”Then, he arrives on the 7th and says that my pool pump has a problem and is not generating pressure. I was on a business trip. I cut the trip short, return home, and check the pump. It had plenty of pressure, and provides plenty of water flow. But, he had left for the day. He said he would return in the morning. He failed to do that. He arrived in the afternoon, and dumped some chemicals in. The pool was still cloudy at night. I told him he needed to sort it out since guests were coming very soon. The result? He canceled the service, leaving me high and dry with a dirty pool. All I wanted was a clean, clear pool. I was fully willing to pay for whatever the cost would be. He repeatedly assured me that he would get the job done. Then, he completely failed to get the job done, and he dropped the job. When I emphasized that I have Airbnb clients coming, he responded, “Whatever. You shouldn't offer a pool to your Airbnb business that isn't ready your fault not mine.”Well, Zac, it would have been ready if you would have done the job you committed to do. Or, if you would have said it’ll take more than 10 days, I could get back to my Airbnb clients and give them 10 days to find a new venue. Your empty promises caused a real problem. As a consequence, I had to inform my guests, and cancel their booking, costing me in $476.20 in lost revenue.Zac, you failed to follow through. But, that’s not all. He previously came to close my pool. He neglected his duties and caused a pipe to break, leading pool water all over. He then came back to fix it, and then charged me for the repair of the damage he caused through his own negligence. Unprofessional. He advertises that he can do equipment service and repairs, yet, it is apparent that he doesn’t know how to properly diagnose equipment problems. He thought there was a problem with my pump, yet I can confirm it was producing good pressure and flow.Oh and to top it off, he flicked cigarette butts in my yard and didn’t clean up before leaving. ????Read the other one-star reviews to get a consistent picture of how he treats clients. If you actually do take the risk to hire him, pay only once the job is completed. Otherwise there’s absolutely no guarantee he’ll complete the work, and will likely leave you hanging.Good luck! ??
I found Atlantis through instagram, and their photos drew me in. Last fall I needed someone to shut my pool down after years of doing it myself.Shutdown went quick and smooth. Throughout the winter my cover never had any caving issues which i have had happen previously. This May, I had Atlantis back out for opening and was interested to see how it did over the winter. I was skeptical on how the water quality would be after previous companies opened my cover to reveal green water.Zac opened up my cover to crystal clear blue water! Another awesome surprise was he had barely any sand or debris spillage from the cover into the water (which always happens to me when I do it). I was pleasantly surprised, and he worked quickly and efficiently. I am very satisfied with his work and will continue to use this company for start up and shut downs, and I am even looking into having him maintain the pool throughout the summer. I highly recommend!
