Tommy and the team here are top notch! Very thorough. Extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. The weekly service is worth every penny!
Went in to test my water. Staff answered all my questions about how to balance my pool and how to fix equipment issues. They also answered my questions about the price and process of replacing my liner when I would need it. I was not persuaded to buy their chemicals when I was testing my water and needed additional chemicals
I decided a couple of years ago to start maintaining our pool myself, and we’ve been getting our water tested weekly here ever since. The staff is always welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. We purchase our pool supplies in bulk, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
This company did a terrible job cleaning/maintaining our pool. We had them do a green to clean in Jan and again in March and then started weekly cleanings at the end of March. The pool was not well cleaned during the second green to clean. I called each week to let them know that the bottom of our pool was still brown and the water was not clear and every week I got an excuse and a promise it would be handled. When the pool was still not clean in May I decided to double check that the work was being done as they stated. I will attach pictures of what they said they did and the actual work done. They were not doing almost any of what I was being charged for.I gave them one more chance this week understanding that it is a busy season and they came once and did not get it clean and said it was all because we need new cartridge filters which they wanted $1,200-1,600 to replace (I will admit it is time to get new ones but this was not the primary source of the problem.) I took the water somewhere else to get a second opinion and the chlorine was 0 even with the pump running 24/7 @100% the new company had me come home and trouble shoot and the actual problem was that the salt cell was not being cleaned and the pool was not making chlorine. So I was paying to have the pool cleaned and maintained and told over and over it wasn’t on them when the truth was they weren’t doing what they were being paid to do. Please do not use this company or trust what they tell you.The pictures below show what they said they did and the condition I found each of these things in right after they left after 2 months of “cleanings”. Also it says they backwashed the filters which is impossible when you have cartridge filters.
If you like simple projects turned nightmare, this is a post for you...$3,000 spent on a simple re-tile job, months of frustration, damage to our property, and within months our pool looks far worse than it did before. We now have additional significant damage as a result of them improperly attempting to do the job multiple times that we’re going to have to pay to have fixed (coping bricks separating from pad due to shifting due to multiple improper drainings). And of course we now have to pay someone else to do the tile job we already paid Swimming Pool Services for.Swimming Pool Services drained our fiberglass pool twice (tried for a 3rd before I told them to stop) without first sumping (we have a sump line - they indicated they didn’t know what it was), they used no bracing any of the 2 times they drained our pool, and then left it empty during rainy days - look up ‘drain fiberglass pool’ to learn how terrible this all is. The whole time, they’ve dismissed our concerns via long drawn out email back and forths and continue to assert that they did everything correctly and are trying to help. After they failed to make things right, I requested a refund, which they’ve refused - they will only agree to keep sending guys out to redo portions of the job the same way that resulted in the problems that we have today. It's always worth mentioning that what was estimated to be a "2 to 3 day job" took more than a month - lots of no call/no show and terrible communication across the board. No thanks.I’ve since spoken to multiple other local FIBERGLASS experts as well as the manufacturer, all of whom assert this was 100% NOT done correctly (with the owner and manager have simply dismissed this, acting as if we’ve only learned info from the Internet. Despite every other expert and resource saying SPS is wrong, SPS continues to assert that they are the experts, even having gone as far as attacking other local businesses work). I’ve been asked no less than 3 times “are you sure they were reputable?”. The manufacture literally put me on speakerphone so everyone could hear my story, to which they responded with gasps, “oh my” and “I’m so sorry”. The warranty manager actually said “it’s a good thing you didn’t have any remaining warranty because that would have definitely voided it - we wouldn’t touch it now”. I’ve also been told that the tiles, grout and adhesive used for the job are incorrect for this size/shape/type of pool, which is something that SPS vehemently argues against - I’ll attach some pictures of the current state of our pool so that you can be the judge for yourself. The Manager (Dave) AND Owner (Glenn) will act as if they’re trying to help, but it’s seemingly just an act to keep things looking positive online (look here and at the BBB for examples). In conversations they remain friendly/polite, but will only offer to continue doing the very things that have led to us now having a damaged pool. I fully anticipate that the owner will follow up on all reviews acting as if they’ve tried to make things right, just as he seemingly does on all negative reviews, but their idea of making things right is continuing to do things incorrectly - ‘the customer is always wrong’, seems to be their approach to customer service. No thanks.Unfortunately there’s a max character count for reviews, so I can’t share everything - though I will be elsewhere.I personally wouldn’t allow these guys to put a bag of salt in my pool going forward.Update based on owner's claims:- The response, as expected, is full of misleading statements in an attempt to come across more helpful than is actually the case.- I turned them away ONCE, not several times. I turned them away because they refused to proceed with repairs without 100% draining my pool and indicated that properly bracing it was out of the question.- Notice he's not mentioning the 'remedy' that they proposed? Because they didn't propose a remedy. They said they would 100% drain my pool, and would not brace it - which is actually the opposite of a remedy.
