Owner Adam Bociek, a fellow U.S. Marine, leads a dedicated, cohesive, and highly professional team that consistently goes above and beyond.Our Pool Technician, Eli Jones, always takes the time to speak with either myself or my wife during visits to ensure our expectations are being met and to answer any questions we may have. That level of communication and accountability is rare and appreciated.Bottom line: I’ve met the entire team, and every one of them is positive, engaging, and committed to quality. DO NO USE THIS POOL SERVICE COMPANY!After my old pool service retired 6 weeks ago, I found Pool Core. Their reviews looked good so I signed up for their most expensive top level service. I requested Thursday or Friday service, so our pool would be at its best on weekends. The first red flag was when they showed up on Tuesday for the first service. After getting this issue straight they started coming on Thursdays, but by Monday or Tuesday I started seeing a slight green tint in the water and I text that I thought the chemical balance was off and the pool was starting to turn . They text back that it would be taken care of on the next service. This happened again after the next service. I was told that the 4 filters needed to be changed. I had the pool for 7 years and have changed the filters many times and it never affected the color of the water. I told them I was certain that the pool chemistry or settings were off, but none the less ok’d changing the filters at a cost of $400, which they did, but also said they needed another $40 to haul away the old filters. Nothing changed. Every service the pool started to turn and I text them over and over, They gave me excuse after excuse. They said the chlorinator had a slow leak, but I did not have to add water to the pool, so that was not possible to cause the issue. This past Tuesday, I saw the pool was getting ready to turn again and I text to let them know and was told that they would do an analyses Thursday and fix the issue. When I came home form work Friday evening, the pool had algae all over the floor and walls. I text the owner and told him, someone needed to come that night or first thing in the morning a do something about this. I was told he would offer a complimentary visit Monday and a $50 discount on my next months bill. I practically begged him to do something before it got worse and he refused. This pool has never had algae in the 7 years I have owned it. The owners incompetence and arrogance is just shocking. After many years leaving positive reviews on Google, this is my first negative. What this company has done to my pool is unthinkable. AFTER READING POOLCORES RESPONSE, I CAN ALSO SHARE MY TEXT COMMUNICATION SHOWING I TEXT THEM EVERY SINGLE WEEK WITH PICTURES OF MY POOL TURNING. IF THE OWNER REALLY TOOK THEIR REPUTATION SERIOUSLY, HE WOULD HAVE COME OUT LONG AGO AND FIGURED OUT WHAT HIS TECHS WERE DOING WRONG.
I found PoolCore after the hurricane made my pool green and full of leaves. After calling around and being told by every other pool company that they would not help me because I had an above ground pool, Adam said that he did service above ground pools. I have been very happy with the services I have received from PoolCore. They are reliable, my pool is always crystal clear and they are quick to respond by email or phone if I try to contact them for any reason. Nicholas C is my pool tech and he is very friendly and professional and he keeps my pool very clean.
