Terrible company! I had been using this company for several years, never had any issues. This May when they came to open my pool they did not do it properly. Charging me almost $400 for a “partial opening” for an above ground pool. They left and the pump was leaking. I contacted them right away to let them know what was going on. I was told that are are extremely busy for the next few days, along with other excuses why they couldn’t fix it right away. I told them that I would wait until they came, just wanted them to know that it was leaking from the get go. When they did come they fixed the issue, they replaced the washer. Simple issue. Took 5mins. I was happy it was fixed until I got another invoice for another $175!! I was extremely upset. This was a mistake they made. Claimed because of the rain they didn’t notice. A small drizzle should not have mattered. I noticed the leak right away, rain drizzle and all. The jet was spitting like crazy and the top of the pump where you could see the water through the clear cover, was extremely agitated; an obvious problem regardless of a little “rain”. I was not upset that it leaked I was upset that after charging me so much to open the pool and not doing it properly, they thought charging me another $175 was acceptable. Why is it the customers fault when you don’t do the job correctly. Just come fix it and that’s it. You made the mistake, you eat the cost! That’s what a business does when they mess up. I paid for the washer but refused to pay the rest. After being a good customer for so many years I could not believe they would try to gouge me like this. I will take my business elsewhere! This company does not deserve my business and you should do yourself a favour and hire a different company also!!I’ve recently read some other reviews where customers had a similar issue, so I’m not the only one! Terrible!!
I had a clog in my suction line and no way to fix it. I called Select and they came within 2 hours. It took some work and magic but they fixed the issue saving my summer. The service was outstanding. Tom was dedciated to finding a solution.
I contacted Tom this morning and got an appointment immediately today for a sand filter installation. His company and his service crew are very nice and professional. Select pool will be my new pool service provider. My former service guy never shows up, and he doesn't even bother to call or answer his messages.Thank you Tom.
