I’m furious about hiring him! I ended up paying more than what we initially agreed upon, and I genuinely feel that he took advantage of me just because I’m deaf and communicate in sign language. He acts like I’m an easy target because I’m not educated and even had the audacity to argue with me about getting more money! This situation has made me extremely upset and emotionally drained. It's absolutely not worth dealing with him, despite his seemingly nice demeanor. He’s clearly trying to pull a fast one on us for money!

Maybe you'll get a better attitude when you call, but the guy that answered for me is straight up rude period! I called to get someone to come out and look at it and simply to clean it....filters aren't the best BUT THEY work...just being transparent and telling him my pool is greenish with a bunch of leaves at the bottom but I usually sweep them out..... just need a deep clean for the summer....WITHOUT EVEN SEEING MY POOL this guy says 2k and he has to come clean my pool several times...pools empty i might add...just has leaves.......im of course shopping prices so I've had 2 other maintenance pool guys come out....FROM HIS COMPETETIORS I MIGHT ADD.....200$....TOP PRICE....dont book them....he just wants a cash grab or to make u feel stupid over the phone....not worth the call...

I started using Trophy Pools two years ago. They have been the only pool company that shows up when they say they will. They respond quickly to all my questions. They are always will to give advice on how to correct my water issues. When the guys sent to open my pool forgot to put the cover up, Trophy Pools immediately took responsibility and offered to send them right over to take care of it. We love them!

I called looking for advice about a pool issue and was disappointed with the interaction. Especially since I read many positive comments. The person I spoke with came across as dismissive, impatient, and condescending throughout the call. Instead of listening to what I was explaining, many of my questions were met with short responses and a tone that felt like I was being talked down to.

One example was when I explained that a handle had become stuck after previously moving normally. I repeatedly explained that I had already tried applying force, but he kept telling me to “put some muscle into it,” which felt dismissive of what I was actually describing. As a woman, I couldn’t help but feel that my observations were not being taken seriously.

I’ve spoken to other pool professionals about the same issue and received respectful, helpful feedback, so the difference in attitude was very noticeable. Unfortunately, I left the conversation feeling dismissed rather than helped.
