I had called Watson Pools to get a second opinion on a pool heater issue. The person I spoke to was so helpful and explained everything over the phone to help me understand the issue and desire not getting my business today, I would go back to them for help in the future!
HORRIBLE!!! I am beyond upset with them!!!!!No communication whatsoever!!!! Go with another company, there are a lot of them out there. I put one star because we bought our home last fall and because they were the previous company opening and closing my pool I hired them to close it and that was ok. I called them. They took the payment and guys came to close it up. But now I’m trying to get it opens for this year. I have a 2 & 5 year old that was expecting to go swimming tomorrow and are now loosing it because Watson Pools can not communicate although I booked my appointment over a month ago. And they are telling me I need to wait a couple more weeks now.I called to book it, we went over everything a month ago and we discussed that the water level was almost to the top. We booked the guys to come open it sometime this week so I called them last week to tell them that they could come any day this week except Wednesday as it doesn’t work for me and once again the water level was at the top good to go. Than I get a text a few days later saying we will be there on Wednesday anny time between 9 & 5 and please respond 1 if all is good and that works. So while rolling my eyes I changed my schedule around and responded 1 for today. Apparently at the bottom of the text I was supposed to call a number to confirm my water level but I missed that part as I am busy and made a mistake. I thought the text response 1 covered everything and I already told 2 other guys that it was good to go. So I get a text this morning asking if the water level was good and because I was getting my teeth worked on I didn’t notice it till just after noon and responded yes while at the same time wondering why I am being asked this again.HERES THE KICKER!!!! They told me that they didn’t hear back from me right away so I have to reschedule a which will be a couple more weeks. If I’m scheduled between 9 & 5 why could they have not done the other pools scheduled today and then come and do mine in the afternoon after I sent the ok AGAIN!!!!This is our first pool and my children have been looking at it all winter long and I have been telling them it will be open and ready to use tomorrow and they are loosing it!!!! As am I and the first thing I’m doing tomorrow morning is calling all the other pool companies to set one of them up to take over the opening and closing of my pool every year now because I am not going back to the bottom of a list with a company that couldn’t give me a text yesterday asking about the water level instead of waiting till the last minute.I worked in customer service my whole life and I can’t believe this. Sometimes we just need to care a little bit about our job and working with a customer that would have given them many years of work opening and closing my pool as my husband and I are never moving from here. We are retiring at this home.So don’t waste your time!!!! I hope this helps everyone out there looking for a company to maintain their pool every year. We even want to upgrade our pool with things so I hope this was worth the tens of thousands of dollars this is costing them.Update: I hired a new company to open my pool and for literally half the price so this has been a blessing in disguise. However, I would like to thank Watson pools for promptly responding with my salt water cell that I need to have the pool open. I guess they take the cell in for the winter to clean so when the guys came to open my pool they were unable to do so right now because we didn’t have that cell. But when I reached out inquiring about it with Watson pool they didn’t give me the runaround. They said we have your cell and I can go pick it up. I would have preferred to know that when I cut my business with them but at least they didn’t give me the runaround. For that I am grateful. I am now happily with Roger from Sunny Beach Pools if anyone is wondering.
If I could give 10 stars I would!!We’d been struggling with chemical balancing in our new pool. We were never taught or shown how to use our system. On a suggestion from a friend brought in a pool sample to Watson’s to see if they could help. Right away Gail did some testing and had the manager Shane come out to see the equipment and explain everything to me. Gail then proceeded to show me what was going on and exactly what to do to help balance the chemicals. Pool was being a bit difficult and when needed Shane contacted the hardware company (Hayworth) to get extra info and help. I live about 40 min from the store front so to help save time and be able to give pictures and info we were able to text back and forth. They were fast to reply and clear communication. Means the world to have my swimming pool back to norm so I can use it daily again. I could not express how much I appreciate Gail and Shane taking extra time to go over things to ensure I understood everything, every recommendation was spot on. Easy instruction to follow and had all chemicals on hand ready. Won’t go anywhere else! Won’t get better service anywhere!
After a miserable experience somewhere else, I was worried that I wouldn't find knowledgeable people who are willing to help. I couldn't have been more wrong! Gayle and Shane are absolutely amazing! Shane is very accommodating and understanding of my limited knowledge and Gayle is a chemistry wizard! I am so thankful to have them in my corner to make sure our pool is always beautiful, clean and safe!
This place is one of the best Shayne And all the employees are very professional and very helpful and very compassionate. I bought a place with a pool a year ago so I am totally new to this side of the world and these guys explained everything in detail to me and the biggest thing is they fixed my pool very quickly for me as I had a different POOL Guy before finding Watson pools and the other company left me hanging in a mess as I was trying to get my pool up and running again as it developed a leak and I just had complete hip surgery and the pool was doing fantastic for my recovery And I was unable to use it for a month as they never called or came back to try again to repair my situation I then called Shayne And he sent 2 Highly skilled employees out and had it fixed within no time they are going to be my go to people as I need lots of repairs to get this pool up to Great condition starting with a updated boiler filtration system And powered cover I highly recommend WATSON POOLS. Shayne and his team. I encourage you to try them. You will be hundred percent satisfied.
