I'm not sure if this review will be helpful to others, but I just called to schedule a time for someone to come out to our house and give me a quote and talk through my concerns about the amount of trees we have. I was directed to their website to fill out a form and pick a pool design and that they will use Google Earth to give me a quote. I shared with the gentlemen that Google Earth wouldn't be accurate as we have done new landscaping and concrete in the backyard and would like to have some one come to the house. He shared with me that they would come to the house before they actually did any installation. My point or concern being is that I guess you have to commit yourself before they will have someone come to your house ... I guess its too much to ask for a human to come visit with us a talk us through our options...MY REPLY to owner response 6.27.23: Thank you for your response. I understood what your team member was sharing with me, what now confuses me is what you stated in your reply to my review, "have a project budget in mind before we get too deep in the process"... if my biggest concerns is my trees, as I conveyed with your team member, it seems as you shared in your reply before getting "too deep in the process" would be me filling out "online information, getting pool packages and options, general pricing structure, discussing project budget, and expectations" and then have someone come out and tell me you would have to remove all your trees in your backyard for a pool to fit... seems like you are putting the cart before the horse in my specific situation. I can appreciate that you can use this review as a coaching tool, because for my specific concern, it seems like a lot of invested time on the consumers end to find out if a pool is even possible. I reached out to 2 other places and they were able to take my information over the phone, and schedule a time to come out... maybe have both as an option for intake or inquiry purposes. During the planning stages we met a few times and they were very open to our questions about the process and took time to answer everything we asked. Once the project began we always felt well informed by their knowledgeable & friendly staff. We couldn’t be more happy with the end results and highly recommend Lubbock Pools.
