My pool plaster started to show several cracks around the spa and shallow lounge area. The plaster started cracking about 1 year after the pool was constructed. Currently, my pool is about 2 years old. Within the 1st year of pool completion, I experienced the following issues:1. 3 valves were continuously defective. The valves would leak the water from my spa to the pool and I have had to replace them 3 different times.2. The stone work around my elevated spa started to fall off in several different areas. Several of the stones have broken since they were not installed correctly and they broke when they fell off and landed on the cool deck.3. My spa continuously leaks from one of the corners. I have had to install pool putty constantly to get the leak to stop. The leak will draw the water line about 2 inches lower every day if pool putty is not installed.4. My cool deck has several cracks. Although cracking is normal in concrete, the cool deck is sinking causing large gouges at the areas where a concrete control joint was placed.5. My travertine coping has started to break off of the pool in several areas. The pieces have become loose to where you can just lift them up off of the ledge.6. The main issue that bothers me the most is the amount of cracks present in the plaster. I have talked to them several times about this and their response is "cracking is very common". Repairs have been attempted in these areas and they come back not too long after with additional cracks. I have several friends/family who have built pools around the same time I did with different companies and neither of these pools have cracks in the plaster. I do not believe this is "very common" as they have said.7. Large crack in the main shell of the spa. This is not normal or “common cracking” as mentioned by the builder.Although they can be a good company to work with in the beginning with constant communication, that does not outweigh the workmanship of the pool construction in areas that matter the most.

Their transparency made the process a lot smoother.• Attention to Detail: They take pride in their work, and it shows in the clean lines, finishing touches, and overall look of the pool.• Customization Options: They were flexible with design elements and brought my vision to life exactly how I wanted.• Permits & Process: They handled all city permits and logistics, which was a huge relief.• Bonus: The first month of cleaning included was a great touch and shows they care about the customer even after the pool is filled.Where they could improve:Cleanup during construction could have been a bit more organized. Boxes, ties, and debris tended to collect around the site—having a designated debris box would’ve made a noticeable difference.Timeline:While communication was great, the initial 3–5 week estimate was surpassed. For someone as anxious as me, that mattered. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s worth noting for anyone who tracks timelines closely.Overall:Still absolutely a 5-star experience. Joe and Juan were a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and I would choose Cannonball Pools & Spa again in an instant. If you’re considering them—do it. They truly earned this review.

Cannonball pools and spa was the most incredible experience! Their patience and professionalism was what made us choose them! My husband and I were very impressed with how quick and punctual the company was and the communication with the owner was impeccable even after they were done! Joe would call us to ensure everything was running smoothly and that we didn’t have any concerns even after they were gone! We are extremely pleased over all
