Hometown installed the pool on our new home build. Was it perfect and smooth - no. We had an issue with high winds lifting the pool cover hatch lid off.Did Hometown follow through and resolve the issue - yes (they worked with us to a deflector to stop wind from lifting the hatch lid.Would we use them again - absolutely. Virtually no construction project will be issue free, things happen. What makes a good contractor is their ability to stay the course and resolve any issues. Hometown did resolve our issue and we have a great pool to enjoy!
I have an older pool and needed new pool equipment. Pump, filter, chlorinator and heater (our heater died so we decided to replace everything) My original installer was too busy and didn't want to come back to Paola for this small of a job. I asked around and got recommendations but had no luck getting anyone to call me back. The job wasn't large enough I guess. I found Hometown Pool on Google and called. David called me back and said that they happened to be installing a pool in our area and would give me a quote. We discussed heater options (gas v. heat pump) and he was very knowledgeable and quoted it with both. We decided to go with gas this time and everything from the quote acceptance to the installation of the gas line and equipment went very smoothly. They did a great job and were very courteous and cleaned up afterwards. David has been a great help since with a couple of questions I had about the new equipment. Even sent someone back out to change the plumbing configuration to make everything easier for me when I'm working on the pool. I highly recommend using Hometown Pool. I know this wont be my last house and last pool, and look forward to using them again in the future!
