Super helpful customer service in answering questions on how to get our pool open this year. They take the time to talk with you to get the most out of your pool. Reasonable prices too!
Purchased a Nordic Hot Tub through the Pool Center and it started having issues after owning it less than a year. The Pool Center informed us that it had been shipped defective. I told them I thought we should get a new hot tub and they would not reach out to Nordic for a replacement. After months of waiting on parts, waiting on the weather to be good enough, waiting on additional parts to be ordered, we still had a $7,500 hot tub that was not 100% functional without issues. I was at my wits end and finally decided to contact Nordic myself. Long story short, Nordic is shipping us a brand new tub, and turning our account over to a company in Bloomington. Our experience with the Pool Center was less than desirable, and they never would go to bat for us as a client. They will even show up at your home unannounced at times for service appointments, which is unprofessional. If you are in the market for a new hot tub, I do not recommend the Pool Center.
Please do yourself a favor and don’t buy anything from The Pool Center. We bought overpriced, low grade, damaging “Poolife Rapid Shock” from this business based on a water sample we provided them that permanently damaged the liner in our 1 year old pool with shock burns. We contacted the owner Ed who is extremely hard to get in touch with, and he made excuse after excuse and took no accountability for the damage. He stopped responding when we presented evidence after researching reviews of this product and consulting with several pool experts that it was indeed the shock his company sold us that caused the damage. Clearly the owner Ed has no integrity, and he takes no ownership for the damage his products cause. The quality of products this business provides is not guaranteed and can result in permanent damage. Terrible customer service and damaging products is what this business offers. I will absolutely never buy anything from The Pool Center again, and I will definitely warn others not to as well.
