We have been customers of Aquaknot for decades. Recently we had problems with an old pool and it was a bit of a challenge to come up with a solution but Erika, Ralph and Brian never gave up on us. Others on the team Dave, Mike, Omar, Eric, Will came too. So to say we had the whole team at one point would be correct. They are timely thanks to schedule oversight by Erika. The team there including Nicole and Katie always try to help. We are very grateful. Carol
Would have given 0 stars if Google would allow it. The company is absolutely horrible to deal with. The office staff do not take any responsibility for their actions (or should I say non-actions because they don’t do anything they say they will) when you call to follow up on something you’re only met with attitude. Zero skills in customer service. Would NOT recommend for anything.
Unfortunately, my family did not have the best experience. We were told the techs would be at our house "afternoon" and we had to call the company, then the techs came around 4:30/4:45p (def after noon, but would have appreciated a courtesy call for an updated timeline). We already had our cover off, so all the techs really did was put the ladders in the peg holes, take pictures of the pool, and assessed the filter. We were told that we needed "o-rings" and then the tech drilled back the filter. Our pool did not have enough water to filter, so no other work was done at that time. My husband and I ended up having to purchase o-rings at Home Depot, take the filter apart again, apply the o-rings, then put the filter back together. When we got our pool opening bill, it was $400. I am disappointed with this price since all that was done was an assessment, putting two ladders into the ground, and the techs telling us of the work that my husband and I needed to complete a pool opening.
I rarely post reviews but feel compelled to warn others of this company. The company came out last year to check on a impeller/motor issue and deemed the motor needs to be replaced. They changed the motor before closing the pool. We moved in and this year on opening, it was found the casket near the pump was missing and there was water leaking near the pump connection which is a new problem - obviously after they closed it last year since no one touched it since. They (Dave) said it's apparently a seal/seal disc problem over the phone without looking at it and then said he will come over on Fri to look. They then cancelled on Thurs afternoon saying they can no longer make it as there's "other priorities". The lady on the phone was rude, terrible and defensive saying it's not their problem and was insistent it's our problem - no apologies whatsoever.I have not had this sort of terrible experience and feel the need to let others know of the ordeals.
The company sent a contract for pool closing with a date of oct 1, which I signed. When no one showed up by 4pm, I called and was told that their schedule said oct 2 and they couldn’t come out. They agreed to close the pool while I wasn’t home and “take care of anything that was needed while I was out for the day”. I came home to a short note that the closing was complete. However, when I looked at the pool, 20% of the cover was completely unattached to any anchor. I called, and the receptionist was very rude - no apology for the incomplete work at all. She claimed she would have someone look. Who knows when that will be.Update: turns out, “when that will be” was today. The technician came out, completed all the work and we are now good to go. Despite our issues, I appreciate Aquaknot resolving them timely.
