We live in a 98 year old Sears Roebuck kit house. Over the past fifty years we have updated much of the house piecemeal but have put off dealing with the upstairs full bathroom, knowing it would be a major project. Replacing the knob and tube wiring and galvanized plumbing would require opening up walls on the first and second floors as well as the floor in the bathroom. This would be the time to remodel the entire bathroom. Last summer we finally decided it was time to take on this project. We asked realtor friends of ours if they could recommend a remodeling company. They told us that clients of theirs had been happy with Momentum. Add us to the list.From our first meeting with the folks at Momentum, we felt they were the right company for us. We could see right away that they were experienced and thoroughly professional. Their first step was to send their design team to our house to get a sense of what we had in mind and take measurements of the bathroom, so they could make suggestions and give us a sense of what to expect: decisions we would be making, and how much the job could cost.Once we had made design decisions, everything proceeded in an orderly manner. First they installed protective materials to prevent damage to the rest of the house. From there the demolition crew, carpenters, the plumber, electricians, tile setters, dry wall installers, and painters all showed up on schedule, always. We had heard stories about people who had hired contractors who showed up haphazardly or sometimes not at all. The Momentum crews were always here when they were scheduled. We could not have been happier with the various tradesmen. Every bit of the work was absolutely first rate, and our project manager Dan kept us apprised of the project’s progress. This is a first rate company, and we are glad to recommend them to anyone considering a remodeling job.
We underwent a full kitchen demo, remodel with mudroom addition in our 100 year old home in Burns Park, AA. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish! From the very first interactions with this company, Brad, Adam and Drew made us feel comfortable and made what could have been a very stressful process into something quite seamless. Emily's design expertise blew us away - she always listened carefully to what we wanted and checked in every step of the way to make sure our vision was coming to fruition. Dan was the best project manager we could have hoped for - he communicated constantly, made sure to keep everyone on track and did his best to make our home as livable as possible during the 5+ months of construction (my 2 year old daughter fondly remembers "construction Dan" haha.)We love the new space Momentum created for us and can't wait to work with you all again!

Momentum Construction did a FABULOUS job building a new home for us. They faced multiple challenges in 2021 as the affects of COVID hit all of the construction industry. Adam did a great job handling the financial and bidding side of the project. Drew did a great job of coordinating all the trades and getting all the details wrapped up. His attention to detail excellent. Adam & Drew both did a great job of communicating, and their on-line tracking software made keeping track of the project easy. I work in the trades and have seen good & bad contractors. Momentum Construction is absolutely fabulous, and I would recommend them to anyone that needs a General Contractor.
