I chose Renata Renovations for a down-to-the-studs, whole-home remodel on my 1955 ranch. I spoke to multiple remodelers and design-build firms about my project, but Renata easily rose to the top of the pack. Gary was easy to talk to, seemed to understand my vision for the house, and took detailed notes as we spoke. I had sketched out what I hoped to accomplish and he was able to tell me what was and was not possible within my budget and timeframe. I also appreciated that he provided a fixed price for the work (most of the others I spoke to were cost plus, which I'm not a fan of). He and his team were also open to helping me figure out ways to cut costs when possible. David, the project manager during the remodel, was a joy to work with. I could always reach him (or anyone else at Renata) with questions or concerns. This was crucial since I lived 90 minutes away while the remodel was in process. I wasn't nearby, but they always cared for and protected my property like it was their own. They also hired great subcontractors. Everyone trade involved with my project had a strong work ethic and delivered exceptional work. Gary's budget and timeline were spot on. Most budget overages were due to decisions/upgrades that I made. The timeline was only delayed slightly from what I was originally told, which was mostly due to an unforeseen delay outside of their control. I was having to coordinate selling my previous home while moving into this one. These guys bent over backward to ensure I could move in on time. I've been living in my home for 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. I smile every time I walk into my house. I love how it turned out and that is in no small part due to the excellence of Renata. It was a positive experience from beginning to end. How often do you get to say that about any home improvement project? I highly recommend them for any remodeling project that you have and I'd gladly work with them again.
We have used Renata Renovations for two projects in our home. Most recently they did a complete kitchen renovation. I can’t emphasize enough the level of quality we experienced with Gary and his team. Our project manager (James) assured all phases of this complex project stayed on time and on budget. We chose to use one of their designers (Michelle) who guided us through the process of selecting cabinet color’s and , quartz countertops which are spectacular! Our new kitchen looks like a magazine cover.
Gary and his team are wonderful!! From Gary’s detailed quote, to always knowing what to expect and when, to making sure everything was completed, they went the extra mile. They offered great suggestions. As a result, our new kitchen is not only beautiful but super functional as well. We cannot say enough about the various people who specialized in their part of the project. They were polite, respectful, friendly; and the truth is now that the project is complete, we miss seeing them. Great work by people who became trusted friends!!
My wife and I had a total kitchen remodel. We had Renata Renovation remove everything down to the studs, open 2 walls, and install a new back door. The project was to take 5 weeks but with parts delay it ended up being 7 weeks. Other than that the workers were professional, respectful, and very friendly. My concerns and questions were answered right away. The quality of work was top notch. There were some minor repairs the were needed and were fixed right away. I will give a shout out to Gary and his team and one project manager Dave Lee for an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Renata Renovation.
Gary and his crew were wonderful. We had our third floor finished. Squirrels had gotten into our third floor and made a total mess. Renata came in cleaned up, put up dry wall, painted and built a wonderful closet. We are so pleased with the results.Gary's father has been in the window and door business for a long time and he gave us a quote on our sons sliding door and installed that. I would definitely recommend Renata for renovations.
