M.R Design & Build Inc.

We hired MR Design & Build for a room addition and a complete remodel of our master bedroom and bathroom. Before hiring for them for the job, we received a couple of other quotes. MR Design & Build not only came in with the best price, but they were also able to do the work while we still stayed in the house versus others who said we would have to move out during the construction. Jose and Ed, the owners, are professional and run a good operation. Their workers, who are all employees – no subcontractors, showed up on time every day and did quality work. The support staff is also very professional and provided detailed spreadsheet of the different phases and costs involved in the work. They warranty their work and a very good about addressing any issues that might come up. If you’re looking for a professional trustworthy contractor for any construction or remodeling work you should definitely consider MR Design & Build.

M.R Design & Build remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our house is so much more functional, bright and welcoming. We’re first time home owners so Jose and Ed were very helpful talking through the process and helping us think through the design and structural changes. Great and frequent communicators and easy to reach. The process and pricing was clear and the office helped us pick out finishes and ordered them for us (thank you Ashley!). Very professional work, attention to detail and the day-to-day team was very nice and accommodating, open to feedback and changes. Everything looks great and solidly built, even months later. Would happily recommend M.R and use them again for future renovations.

We recently completed a major home addition and remodel with M.R. Design and Build, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, their team was professional, responsive, and deeply committed to quality craftsmanship. They took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life with thoughtful design and flawless execution. The new addition blends seamlessly with the original structure, and the remodeled spaces feel modern, functional, and beautiful. Every detail—from the custom cabinetry to the upgraded finishes—was done with care and precision. Communication was excellent throughout the project. We always knew what to expect next, and any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly. The crew was respectful of our home, kept the site clean, and completed the project on time and within budget. If you're looking for a reliable, talented, and trustworthy team for your home renovation or addition, I highly recommend M.R. Design and Build. They truly exceeded our expectations.

M.R. Design & Build did an excellent job building our one-bedroom attached ADU. They were consistent and reliable from start to finish. They communicated easily and responded quickly when we had questions. I would gladly hire them again for future projects. Jose and Ed are trustworthy guys. Lesly, our project manager, was also a pleasure to work with. Overall, working with M.R. was a very positive experience.

Mr Design & Build completely restored my faith in contractors after a previous bad experience. They were professional, reliable, and attentive to every detail. The team listened to my vision and delivered beyond my expectations—on time and with no surprises! Their commitment to quality and integrity truly stands out. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend them!
