We had a great experience with Firefly Solar from the very beginning. The sales representative, Cerance who came to our home was professional, knowledgeable, and very patient in explaining the entire solar process. They walked us through how the system works, the installation timeline, financing options, and what to expect with energy savings. What we appreciated most was the transparency — there was no pressure, just clear and honest information. All our questions were answered thoroughly, and we felt comfortable and informed before making any decisions. Overall, the presentation was clear and reassuring. Great customer service experience!

We had the opportunity to learn about this solar panel company at the Edmonton Home Show in January 2026. I liked what I heard and was impressed by the professionalism of the staff, so we decided to book a consultation. Nathan came to our home for the initial visit, where he explained more about the company, how they operate, and gathered our energy information, including costs and consumption. A couple of days later, Steven followed up with a very well-prepared proposal. He walked us through the project in detail, explaining the installation process, the quality of the panels being used, warranty coverage, and what our current and future electricity costs would look like if we went solar. Steven also reviewed financing options, both private and CEIP, and most importantly, clearly demonstrated what our net monthly cost would be (energy usage + credits - solar panel payment). This was the key information we needed to make an informed decision. I really appreciated that he was straightforward, knowledgeable, and professional—no runaround, just clear and transparent explanations. Excellent work ethic. We’ve decided to proceed with CEIP and are now waiting for Steven/Firefly to provide the final cost and recommend an energy assessment provider (Feb 11,2026). So far, our experience with Firefly Solar has been very positive—transparent, professional, and reassuring. I will continue to update this review as the project progresses.

His support made the whole process much easier to navigate. The installation team was just as impressive, friendly, informative, and very professional in how they handled the entire install. The electrician took extra time to walk me through the wiring setup and made sure all my questions were answered. Everyone worked efficiently as a team and completed the full installation within a single day. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the service and highly recommend Firefly Solar to anyone considering making the switch.

I want to thank Matthew and the team at Firefly Solar for their outstanding service in installing my 11.88kW solar system. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. While the pricing was very competitive, what truly stood out was the high-quality workmanship. They used ample sealant to prevent any potential roof leaks and ensured everything was installed correctly the first time. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The team followed up at each step, and the full timeline from consultation to completion was less than three months, which I was very pleased with. Even after the installation, they reached out to remind me to sign up for the Solar Club—something I had forgotten about—which ended up giving me my first negative electricity bill, with $340 in credits. I will absolutely be recommending Firefly Solar to all my neighbors. Their professionalism, quality of work, and customer care are top-notch.
