Citadel Solar and Roofing installed 21 solar panels, 21 Enphase inverters, a Franklin Battery and a new breaker box in Dec. 2025 for our home in the Auburn area. This was a complex project and we were very pleased with their professionalism, cooperation, good communication and clean up. The work was completed in time to allow us to deduct the cost of the installation on our 2025 taxes. They also greatly assisted us in completing the SGIP (CA’s Self-Generation Incentive Program) application. We are now in receipt of the SGIP approval letter from PG&E. Without their help we could not have successfully completed the application. In particular, we would like to thank: Ashley who guided us thru the whole process; Juan G. who did much of the installation; Kellen, who supervised and installed much of the circuitry; Justin who did a lot of the electrical and breaker installation; Priscilla and Damien, who helped us with the SGIP application; and Christopher who gave us the initial guidance in urging us to sign up for SGIP. We did not catch all of the installers’ names, but they were all very professional. We would hire them again and wholeheartedly recommend Citadel.

We just had Citadel do an installation of an Enphase Battery, to go with the Solar installation they had done earlier. The process was very well organized and thorough. We had Liam Smith walk us through our battery options, and help figure out what would work for us. And then we had Ashley Jensen coordinating the dates for the site visits, inspections, installations, and approvals. After some testing, it looks like we're in shape to handle blackouts and brownouts in the summer coming. I really must call out how thorough and professional the crew has been in the process, especially Ashley. We were kept apprised of the schedules, including lead times for inspections. At one point, after the initial installation, one of our circuits would not come on. Ashley saw to it that the techs were available to help troubleshoot, and fix the problem promptly. I would work with Citadel again in the future, for any system expansions we might consider.

When I moved to Fairfield in 2018 I didn't know about Citadel. I had another company install solar panels, but that company went bankrupt. My inverter gave up within a year and luckily I found Citadel Roofing and Solar. Leslie responded to my inquiry, got my a replacement inverter from Solaredge and had it installed. Then it happened again, and Leslie delivered one more time. So, it was a no-brainer that once I decided to get backup batteries, I turned to Citadel. The whole process was painless, they were on top of things from the beginning, despite being swamped with demands for new installs. Ashley was my main contact and she was super responsive, gave me timely updates. Tiffanie handled the rebate from PG&E, and I was super impressive with their professionalism. The project got done in a timely manner, I got my two Tesla batteries and all paperwork in order. Well done, Citadel!

I could not have been more pleased with the workmanship, professionalism and project management. All of the folks working on my home were employees with supervisors on site---no sub-contractors. Very easy to work with from start to finish. The Supervisors give you their personal cell numbers. I recommend letting them do your roof first ---then instal solar. It makes for a seamless install. Very High tech but also very High Touch in regards to customer service. Shout out to Ashley, Holly, Kathleen, Veronica Nicole and Juan
