This company does not respect your time.They'll reschedule last minute. The installer will show up late if at all. The installers left a mess by not properly sealing off the work area. Had to clean up after them at 730pm (appointment time was originally for 10am-1pm) I've only completed the transaction because i already invested so much time and money with them. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the hassle and stress of dealing with this buisness. The sliding door itself is ok, but at what cost?!?!
Action Window & Door was recommended by our longtime contractor. We had a competitive bid for approximately 35 windows (some wood and some aluminum). Action proposed a combination of “replacement” windows and “built in” windows minimizing the amount of stucco repair. The results are a very uniform appearance and nearly undetectable stucco work. The job was scheduled for three weeks and supervised on site every day by David. The crew showed up on time and left the job site neat and orderly each afternoon. In the case of a few windows, screens arrived damaged, we were informed immediately and new screens were ordered before the job was finished. As I drive through our neighborhood of 30+ year old homes, nearly all have had their windows replaced. I can easily see which windows were replaced by Action. They’re the ones that look the best.
Everyone was very professional and polite. Great communication from sales person Nate and operations manager Melisa. Installers arrived on time all three days. Windows were installed with clean finishes. Window to door modification was a lot of work and they finished in 3 days. The drywall, door frame, and stucco matches existing. Only area for improvement would be the communication of the work to be done for the door modification. I didn't who was in charge of it and had to explain it to multiple people. This resulted in the outside light fixture not being shifted over initially but was fixed immediately the next day.
Action Windows were great. We were installing four windows in our home. Nathan was very helpful in communicating throughout the process. The scheduling and installation went very quick and the Simeon windows they use look really professional.Action also gave us the best quote the FIRST time. Very straightforward company. Great for our rehab project. Would recommend.
I used Action Window and Door twice - once to replace the windows and sliding doors on my home then for a replacement of a sliding door on another property. From the sales person to the installers, all very professional. This company really makes an effort to please their customer with attractive pricing and quality service which is reason I used them a second time. I did have a couple of problems arise (outside of Action's control) and I was impressed with the quick response and that Action took ownership of the problems. Highly recommended and I would definitely use them for future projects.
