My brother advised me to use SP Windows after using them for his own house renovation. I have had two different orders through them, with more planned for the future. I don’t live in Missoula so all my questions, decisions and payment was done over the phone. Chris was super easy to communicate with and willing to break things down like: getting the right measurements, giving me all the options so I get the windows I wanted. The ETA for when your windows will be done and delivered is spot on and not that long of a wait unless it’s the holidays but that’s any company. While the windows aren’t cheap, they are well worth it for the quality and warranty (much better than Pella). I could keep going on about all the positives of this company but to sum it up succinctly: I HIGHLY recommend using SP Windows, whether you’re building a new house or fixing up an old one.
We have had a disappointing experience start to finish. We needed a new window and were recommended to Sierra Pacific. We went into their showroom to ask some questions and the lady who was working there was extremely rude and off-putting for no good reason. When we inquired about a window she kept saying, "don't talk to me about that, rudely" and seemed to really want us shooed out to door. Very poor first impression. Then we connected with their sales rep. At first I really appreciated his prompt responses but as questions arose about the window, he became defensive and abrasive. When they delivered the window the driver set this large window in my husbands arms and walked away. I had to ask him to help carry it to the garage because he was ready to just leave and it was too big to be moved by only one man. As the window was being put in by my contractor, many issues were noted. The sash had a nail sticking out, the screen was torn, the corners are not flush and several pieces are not square. For what we paid for this window, I would have expected to receive a quality product. When I brought this to the attention to the sales rep, he told me new parts would be ordered and they would send a tech out and it should take 2-3 weeks. We had to call several times to get this to actually take place. Finally they scheduled to have our new parts installed today, almost two months later. My husband took the day off work to be here and as the scheduled time came and went, no one showed. When we called they told me they tried to call but apparently had my number wrong which is odd considering they have contacted me before. Then when I asked why the installer never showed, he said he didn't know? Then why did they call? My husband just left to get the parts himself so we can find someone reliable to do it. This company gladly took our money but have provided a poor product and poor service in return and have wasted a generous amount of our time. In our efforts to bring these things to their attention, they have acted like we are the bad guys for calling them out on it and wanting to get what we paid for. Would not recommend working with them!
Shout out to Craig at Sierra Pacific. I’ve had my windows since 2012. Inevitably when things break or need adjustment, Craig shows up and is incredibly friendly, professional and does a great job at fixing anything that needs fixing. His professionalism has been consistent for many years. Any business would be lucky to have such a great employee. Same goes with all the others at SP but Craig stands out. Thank you.
Sierra Pacific Windows provides outstanding products and customer support. As an Architect I recently completed an outdoor dining pavilion that included five nineteen-foot bi-fold doors in addition to other fixed windows and doors. Dave, Dana, & their team were extremely helpful during the design phase in reviewing and coordinating the details. The result was a seamless installation process and a beautiful facility for our client.
