The best part for us was the communication, we were always kept informed, and all of our questions were answered in detail and promptly. The house itself looks great and exceeds expectations. Excellent job when it was all said and done. Like anyone building a house, it’s never done as quickly as you’d like but, the quality of the work that was done is outstanding. We used our own flooring guy and he told me that everything was square which makes his job that much easier and that the quality of the sheetrock and texture was some of the best he has seen. During the initial process my wife worked with Skagit Design and enlarged windows and changed the interior layout to fit our needs. Every subcontractor that arrived on site was professional and did excellent work and went above and beyond. The electrical contractor worked with us adding outlets and anything else we wanted. Plumbing was the same, excellent work. Being in construction for 40yrs, it’s pretty obvious when subcontractors aren’t top notch and that certainly wasn’t the case. I highly recommend Skagit Design to anyone that is interested in building a new home.
