I had Wooden Widows and Doors repair a double hung window sash that had gotten dry rot, I was very pleased with their thoroughness, promptness and follow though. I had never had a window repaired before and they helped me understand what was needed and why.I now have a great new bottom half of the window, and it looks exactly like my other windows. This turned out perfectly, and the staff also told me what to do in the future to avoid water damage to my remaining windows.I recommend Wooden Windows and Doors. They do a good job at a reasonable price.
We needed a custom-sized door and large windows for our home. Ivan was great and went out of his way to ensure that our project was done well. Beautiful windows and doors again! Our old windows and doors were 20 years old, with clouded panes due to gas leaks. After trying to get bids from four different companies, we decided to go with Wood Windows and Doors. Ivan was the only one to actually give us a quote on site the same day he measured. The other companies' reps all had to go back to the office and check with their management before they could bid, and I had a heck of a time getting them to respond weeks after taking measurements. Not so with Ivan, He sent me a formal proposal next day. I set up a visit to their showroom with Ruben at their office in San Pablo and both my husband and I were impressed with the quality of the doors and windows. The installation was done on time, as scheduled by Ruben and Carlos, Pedro and Francisco who were all very professional and thorough. They picked up after themselves, so there was no mess once the job was done and we could not be happier with the results. Wood Windows and Doors is the way to go when you want an outstanding job!
We recently had to have our house resided and we got quotes from several vendors in our area, some very well known for their catchy phone numbers and jingles. Wood Windows and Doors was the best one we found by a wide margin.Our contact, Ivan, gave us several options and designs, explained the differences in wood material, delivered samples and was much more responsive than the others we contacted. He even helped us navigate the insurance process making sure we received the most from our claim.When they began the installation, I was put in touch with the crew lead, Ruben, and we talked through the schedule, quirks of the house and other things he did not want to take for granted. It was much appreciated as our home has some irregularities. We encountered one small hiccup early in the installation and WND immediately corrected the issue with no questions asked. I was pleasantly surprised as it was my error that caused the issue.The quality of the windows is outstanding, the crew was pleasant and professional, and the cost of the project was significantly better than their competitors had quoted us. I would STRONGLY recommend Wood Windows to any/ all of my friends and family and I will definitely call them again for future projects.
