I'm a contractor and was serving customer concerns when contacting Opus.Bad news is the finish on my customer's Engineered hardwood was peeling in spots. That is possibly due to the area being close to a patio door and may have been Prone to water sitting on it. I really don't know.Customer asked about refinishing the area and I inquired about obtaining colour matched stain/finish to do the repair.Opus was prompt in providing a response, though as I suspected, refinishing the area wasn't at the top of their suggestions. 1) replace boards (I'd leave that to someone more specialized). 2) while unable to directly provide a solution, they did suggest an involved approach of colour matching with a specialty service provider.
Exceptional product - used Opus Magic Serafin II - bevelled edges really add to the finish and how real the floor looks. It has been very durable, soft on the feet and we couldn't be happier with the product.
