The high caliber of service provided by the Newberry Floor Store’s in-house team and their Flooring contractor (Steven) exceeded our expectations! Newberry Floor Store’s lead technician (Tyler) provided expert guidance about flooring products and accessories. He provided our final estimate within 24 hours of measuring our home. All material delivery and installation schedule dates were met. The installation contractor who completed our project was a one-man dynamo. He was an extremely efficient and multitalented tradesman and, had every tool he needed. His strong skill as a craftsmanship was evident in his layout of elegant repetitive flooring patterns, appropriate for each room. After living in our home in NW Gainesville for 18 years, the ceramic tile in our kitchen starting coming up. As we had the same tile pattern in our kitchen, pantry, two hallways and laundry room, we decided to have all the old tile in those areas removed, and all new tile installed. We also decided to tear out and replace the old linoleum floor in our master bath. It was a daunting and costly project that scared me to death! I had loved the color and look of the old tile, and I felt overwhelmed with trying to figure out where to buy our tile, and --most importantly-- how was I going to find a top-notch installer? Everything fell into place when we found The Floor Store of Newberry (NFS). From the beginning we worked with Dale Nix, looking at tile sizes, patterns, and colors. Dale is extremely knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and never rushed us. NFS allowed us to take tile samples home to see how they would look. I especially appreciated that, and we made sure that all samples were returned to them. Dale came out to our house and did measurements, talked with us about the project, and really listened to what we wanted. We decided to go with a more expensive (and very durable) porcelain tile that we are extremely happy with. Dale recommended a company that came in and tore out the old tile with minimal fuss. The project started in early March 2019 and took a week. NFS' installers were fantastic! Both installers were meticulous in laying the tile, and they didn't rush. Everything in my home was respected while they were here. My baseboards were all carefully removed and numbered. My appliances were gently moved out of place, then put back when the flooring was completed. Every little detail was taken care of, and Dale even came back out to the house when it was finished to make sure everything went OK. From start to finish, NFS helped us every step of the way and took care of all the small details. Kathy Beverly is awesome to work with, and she made sure that anything we needed addressed was followed up on. We absolutely love our new flooring and I feel so much better that we were lucky enough to find The Floor Store of Newberry. God bless them for being the caring professionals that we needed.
