Sold very old used carpet and wouldn't reimburse me. Poor customer service by the owner and a lack of professional accountability.

I had a very disappointing and costly experience with this business and its owner.

I purchased commercial carpet tiles from one of their locations and was told I was getting a “good deal” because the tiles were leftover from a previous commercial job. I was not bargain-hunting—I needed carpet quickly to open two new treatment rooms in my clinic, as many products have long lead times.

The installer that was referred to me by this location removed the old carpet and applied adhesive in both rooms. As he began installing the “new” tiles, he immediately stopped and said the carpet appeared used. There was old glue on the backing, upturned corners, and the tiles would not lay flat—especially at the corners. He stated he had never seen anything like this and could not guarantee his work because of the condition of the carpet. Despite this, I allowed him to finish because the adhesive was already down and there was a 50/50 chance it might settle. It did not. The finished result looked terrible. I still paid the installer $600, as this was clearly not his fault.

The installer advised me to file a claim immediately.

I notified the sales associate the same day, sent photos to the owner (Russ) as requested, and met him in person at my clinic after being told he would “take care of it.” Unfortunately, from the moment he arrived, he was defensive, denied the carpet was used, and blamed the installer entirely. No apology, no accountability.

I followed up with two professional, written emails including:

Installer invoices

A written statement from the installer confirming the carpet was used

Photos showing glue on the backing, glue on the carpet surface, furniture marks, and the poor final result

The installer also stated that once these tiles are pulled up, the integrity is compromised and they cannot be properly reinstalled—and I would never accept used carpet in a clean clinical treatment space.

The owner responded with a letter stating he did not owe me an apology and made further inappropriate remarks instead of resolving the issue.

As a result, I am out over $1,000, had to purchase entirely new carpet, and pay again to have the job redone.

I gave this business every reasonable opportunity to make things right. They chose not to. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company—especially if integrity, professionalism, and accountability matter to you.

I came in with my 3 girls and had a wonderful experience. The gentleman who helped us (unfortunately, I didn't get his name) provided excellent customer service and went out of his way to assist. He suggested some leftover carpet pieces that were perfect for my dogs. Very satisfied with the service and the quality. Highly recommend!
