I had an appointment for December 15th at 9am to get an estimate for a new garage door. At 11am, the tech had not shown. So i called to confirm someone was still coming, was placed on hold for 10 minutes then disconnected. I called back and the man who answered said he was trying to find out where the tech was and would call me back. He never called back. I then submitted a message through the website and still haven't heard anything back. Cant say anything about thr work or pricing, since they never showed, but the extreme lack of any follow up seems unprofessional to me.
UPDATE: it’s been several months, I didn’t hear back from anyone. The technician who came even texted me (see screenshot) to ask if the company ever helped, and informed he left the company cos the owners are really cheap. STAY AWAY!!!!STAY AWAY AND DO NOT USE THEM!!Came to replace my springs. Paid $447. Very next day, the entire door broke when I tried reversing the golf cart since the door was left not adjusted back to original position it was before. Ended up costing me $3,000 to replace the entire door. When asked for a warranty at least on the $447 cost for spring and not even demand relief or help with garage door and accountability, they said since nothing was wrong with springs, they won’t give a refund or warranty of the $447, let alone help me replace the door. My door never broke before, so it is apparent it was the technician’s duty to adjust it to previous condition. As you can see in the pictures. Very poor response from what’s supposed to be a reputable company. They couldn’t even come same day to get the door down as emergency to secure my belonging. I spent completely out of my pocket to get the entire thing fixed. Use a local company instead from neighbor’s recommendation. These folks are just about the “money” and does NOT back their work or warranty or any integrity! The supervisor or no one from office reached back out after promising they would.I will be reporting this to BBB and there will be far more consequences than ignoring the customer and not backing any warranty or workmanship.
Extremely Overpriced – Beware Before HiringI recently had a garage door spring repair done by Quality Garage Door Services Orlando, and it turned out to be a very disappointing and expensive experience.My garage door spring had broken, and they charged me $300 per spring — that’s $600 just for the two springs. On top of that, they said the torsion tube needed replacement and charged $239 for it.After the repair, I contacted Banco Overhead Doors for comparison. Banco quoted $395 total for the same spring replacement job and only $39.95 for the torsion tube — plus they offer a 3-year warranty, whereas Quality Garage Door Services only provides 1 year.It’s shocking how much these guys overcharge. Their prices are far above any reasonable or standard rates.It was my mistake to go with them without proper research, but I hope this review helps others avoid the same costly experience.
