called this summer, (2021) for quotes and install for my business to get four commercial doors installed. Days door was the first to come and give me a quote. super impressed at first with how quickly they responded to our request for new doors. Once we confirmed and agreed on prices and build specs. they had told us a few weeks for the doors to show up, install in a day or two and we should be good to go. i had to repeatedly call asking when the job was going to even start, they responded with material and shipping issues due to covid. of course, understandable. two gentlemen came with one door, and a scissor lift. took the two guys to install one door all day. they nicely asked if they could leave the lift for the following days install. not a problem. but i don't think they specified what day the following day that would be, in the meantime moving the scissor lift in and out every day of our shop, it took about 3 weeks and repeatedly calls for them to follow up to finish the remaining doors. the second crew that came out, put the three other doors up in no time. job done, things went well for about 1,1/2 weeks til one of the 12ft. doors came crashing down busting and bending the doors due to a spring / cable breaking. we had to call once again, they came and repaired the new door, now 4 months later, -10 degrees out, our shop heaters have been off the hook, non-stop. looked and found out there was a gaping hole at the top of a door where a seal wasn't installed. called once again (on a Wednesday) the guy on the phone said they would send someone out asap, no show that day, called back again that next day Thursday, still in the below freezing point. only to find out they can't get to us until that following Monday with no follow up call to inform us?????? while our heaters are non-stop running. so so so frustrating, beyond exhausted dealing with this company. we had to outsource our own seal, which we had already paid for thru Days door that they didn't install. installed our own in a matter of 10 mins. poor poor poor customer service. be advised. they will be quick to hook you, but bad experience with our service. the techs, did a good job with install just bad customer service.
