BWH gave us an amazing construction experience. Our building plans were complicated and it took a special builder to fulfill the vision. Our project manager Mike was particularly caring and thoughtful, looking out for us from the homeowners’ perspective. Frankly, it’s not just the success of the overall project that was satisfying, but the way the BWH team handled the inevitable hiccups that come with a construction project. Thank you to Britt and his team!
Our experience with Bruce Williams Homes has been fabulous. We have worked with them over a number of years on several projects. As a trade partner, they are extremely professional and true team players. They are attentive throughout the project and value relationships with both the trades and clients alike. We appreciate the fact that they take the schedules seriously and go the extra mile to finish strong. Britt is a pleasure to work with, bringing both his patience & calm caring nature throughout the project. As chaotic as construction can be, Bruce Williams Homes set themselves apart by their professionalism and ability to keep a project efficiently moving forward.
We recently completed a large addition and remodel with BW Homes. We could not be more pleased with the result. In doing an addition/remodel of this magnitude, there all always unexpected issues that may arise. The BWH team was exceptional in helping us find solutions that were both aesthetically pleasing and fit our budget constraints. They are a quality company that still believes in classic business values. So refreshing in today’s construction environment. We highly recommend them and we love our new home!!!Michael and Sarah Mackie
When I asked friends from church who had lived here a long time who they would recommend for an extensive remodel/new construction, the name "Bruce Williams" came up time and time again. We had just left a different builder after three months of pure frustration in the design phase. When we sat down with Britt Williams and his team, my wife explained what she had in mind for the house to look like. I had low expectations for the outcome of the meeting based on our experiences with the previous the builder. After about 30 minutes of asking questions and listening intently, Britt had an expression like the lights suddenly came on and he grabbed paper and pencil and in a few minutes he sketched out almost exactly what she had in mind. It was an incredible thing for me to see. What we were not able to accomplish in three months with another builder, we just did in 30 minutes with Britt.A few months into the building phase, there was a delay and I called Britt out of frustration. His first words were, "I am so sorry. It's all our fault...," and he explained where they had missed a discrepancy between the truss angles they had measured and the angles on the architectural drawings and how the county spotted it and it had to go back to the architect and had been remeasured three times and resubmitted and that he was now personally involved with resolving it. All my frustration evaporated and my first thought was, "When was the last time I ever heard anyone in business take full responsibility like that?" He could have blamed it on the county and I would have believed him. But for Britt and his team, honesty and integrity are a key part of their core values and that is something that sets them apart. No games, no gotchas, no little lies. Just the truth.Every month we sat down with Dave Robinson at BWH and went through line by line every cost and expense as the project progressed. I came to truly appreciate that several years after our home was completed, when I was speaking with a gentleman who had used a well-known high end custom builder in our area for a multimillion dollar new home construction on his waterfront property. When I asked if he was satisfied with the value he received working with that other builder, he rolled his eyes and said, "I will never know what the true costs actually were. They did good work, but their recordkeeping was so disorganized that it is impossible to tell if I got a good value or not." Because of their systems and processes, we never experienced that with BWH.A few years after our construction was completed, we had windows fail (BWH no longer uses them). When those or other things came up that needed to be corrected, someone came out and handled it or helped with the claims process with the manufacturer. They stand by their work. And with recent major named storms and hurricanes I am so grateful that we chose a quality builder who was so hands on, honest to the core and detail oriented. Our house has withstood the hurricanes very well.Every time I pull into our driveway I feel so grateful for our home. We lived in our home for 18 years before the project and wanted to remedy so many things, add garages, an office and a loft so we can have the kids and grandkids here. It was a massive undertaking (as you can see from the before and after photos). I thank God for the friends who recommended BWH and it has been a great blessing to work with Britt and his team. As a pastor, I am glad to recommend BWH based on first-hand experience.
